[James said with a slightly wistful smile. It had been a while since normal James or the younger version of him had met Miku, after all.]
[And then, with a small bow, he smiled a bit more professionally and brought her and Haku the menus.]
- And yes, we do have all kinds of drinks. I made sure we have about a 100 different kinds of non alchoholic cocktails, you see...
[Haku, in the meanwhile, was staring at the drink menu, grimancing.]
...I feel awful, and my life is worth nothing, nothing at all. Woe is me, Miku-chan...
[Haku groaned, then, and slumped on the table.]
- Hey, Bartender-san! Do you have anything that could possibly make me feel better here?
[James nearly giggled, then. She meant him, right?]
...Well, in your case, I'd say you should try one of our Hangovers-Go-Away series of special non alchoholic cocktails, Ms Haku.
I think you'll like the yogurt, mint and lemon one - That seems to be a real hit with the ladies, if I says so myself!
[And in the meanwhile, a pair of cute robots had brought over the menus to Rin and Len.]
- Our special dish this month is the Really Big Fish And Chips Plate With All The Works, Including Tarter Sauce, Coleslaw, And Sourkraut And Other Yummy Things!
[The robots piped up in unison, and then made a hologram of the dish in question float up in front of them. It's big enough for all the Vocaloids here to share, it seems... And it looks very yummy indeed!]

Miku sighed and shook her head "Oh poor haku chan, in that mood again?" she hugged her vocaloid cousin
[the twins bounced happily at the site of the woods] "Looks great!

[He said with a cheery smile, and then turned toward Miku, and whispered -]
...Don't worry, it'll get rid of her hangover anyway - I've done this before, ha ha ha -
[Haku stared at the cocktail in front of her, and put it to her lips.]
- OK, I'll try it out...
[And then, she gulped it down, and stared at it, her eyes wide, as magic buzzed around her for a moment.]
...Huh? My headache is all gone, all of a sudden!
[And in the meanwhile, the pair robots had arrived with the Really Big Fish And Chips Plate With All The Works, balancing it cutely between them.]
[And then, they set the table.]
- Please enjoy our food and drink, esteemed costumers!
[The robots said in unison, giving the Vocaloids cute little bows.]

- Fine. Thanks, I suppose - I really did have to sober up for our performance, anyway.
[And then, she went over to the Kagamine Twins, and started to eat some of the fish and chips, too, since their was enough food for all of them.]
...Hey, this is really good!
[James came over to her, grinning.]
- Oh, so you people are going to be performing in the Halloween Rock Festival too?

[Haku muttered, and then looked at the robots again.]
- Baaah, I'm sober! Good grief - You people really expect me to get up on the stage when I'm sober? Shiiiite.
[And then, she turned toward James.]
...Hey, you - I wanna practice a bit, OK? So were's the mikes and everything?
- Be our guest, Ms Haku!
[James laughed, and then pushed a button - And a small stage came raising out of the other side of the cubby with a swoosh! James handed her a mike with a grin, and gestured her toward the stage.]

Singing in front of you peeps is not the same as singing in front of - of tons of strangers!
[And then, she became a bit green in the face, remembering the countless times she'd had to sing in front of tons of strangers anyway. She groaned, and turned toward James.]
- Heyya, barkeep - Do you have any magical cocktails which would make it easier for me to get on the stage or something?
[James nearly burst out laughing, but then went toward the bar.]
...Well, I don't know if it'll really work, but I do have about six different kinds of "stage fright go away" cocktails on hand...
[And then, he made Haku a cranberry and fake vodka cocktail, and handed it to her with a bow. Haku chugged it down, and then swaggered toward the little stage.]
...Well, then - Here I go, everybody!
[Nobody in the little cubby they were all in realized that the big hologram sceens on the karaoke area outside the cubby was buzzing, however - Yes, Haku's singing is going to be very visible and audible all over the pub, it seems!]

[She said, with a bittersweet smile.]
...I mean, I really love my music, and the singing itself, but all those crowds? Baaah....
[And that was when the door to be cubby opened up, and the little robots came in with more food!]
...Here is the friend ice cream, sirs and ma'ams!
[And then, some voices started to reach them from the outside of the cubby.]
...So that was Yowane Haku? Wooow, I never knew she could sing like that!
- Yeah, she's really good - It's too bad she doesn't like crowds, though. Hmm...Maybe she likes smaller concerts better? Maybe we could invite her here to sing on stage here in the Pub!
[Haku got redder and redder as she caught sight of what was going on. There was a holo version of herself on the stage of the bigger stage in the pub, looking like a deer in the headlights...]
- Yikes!
[James said, and quickly went over to the mini stage inside the cubby, cutting off the holo system manually.]
...Sorry, Ms Haku - That wasn't supposed to happen. That holo-link is supposed to be off, usually!
[Not only was the holo link supposed to be off, it wasn't supposed to be activated unless people activated the link with a button on both of the two stages, just to prevent accidents like this - But that was Infinity for you, James thought with a slight sigh.]

[Meiko groaned - And then she took a small bottle of hangovers go away potion out of her purse, and chugged it down.]
- Okaydokie, everybody, we have to get ready for our performance now!
[She said, staggering up from her seat.]
[Haku, in the meanwhile, was groaning.]
...Oh, no - The thought of all those ginoumous crowds is making me feel ill, seriously!
I always end up freezing up or making a fool of myself in some way...
[James looked at her, and then put his hands together as an idea hit him.]
...Ms Haku? Would you like to try out one of my special halloween magical cocktails? It's supposed to work very well for all kinds of stage fright...
[And then, he quickly made Haku a warm looking orange cocktail with a little pumpkin on top.]
[If it works, it should make all the people in the crowd look like pumpkins while she sings, ha ha ha...]
