[Rin huffed, as she leaned against her brother.]

...So you know what I feel like, now, I suppose...

[She muttered after a while.]

[Len growled a bit, and then hugged her, tears in his eyes.]

...It's really you. Hi, Rin.

[And then, he smiled, tearfully.]

- I - I just want to go home, now. Let's go find Mother, all right?

[And Rin nodded at that, too, feeling her eyes tear up herself.]

[Their mother had been quite all right once they woke her up, though she had seened to be a bit dazed, and they had come home without mishap, though Len had no idea to tell her about what had happened to Miku, to be honest. And now, their mother was sleeping, and Len was trying to decide what to do.]

...Um...Rin? Can we talk?

[He eventually said, once he found his sister in the living room, looking intently at the TV.]

- Shuuush!

[She said, and then looked at the TV screen again. Miku was singing for one moment on the stage, and then her expression changed, and then -]

[- Utter blackout.]

...Huh. So the cameras didn't pick anything up from inside that - place- it seems. Thank the frigging goodness.

[Rin muttered with a sigh.]

"Huh, so they were already airing it?" [Len sat beside Rin]
"this channel at least. though, with eyewitness roports..."
"It doesnt seem like anyone remembered what happened when they woke up. As far as anyone knows, Miku had a mental breakdown and disappeared..." [Len looked saddened] "..Is it true, what really happened to her?"
"I guess so, according to that other me. She knows about all that. I got glimpses of her memories... and memories of my life, in the past."
"I have as well... when you were Rilliane. and I was Allen." [he suddenly drew her into a tight hug] "I am so, so sorry! I only ended up hurting you in the end!"
"No, it's all my fault Lenny, I was being horrible! I didn't realize it until it was too late..."
"But I,"
"Maybe, we can agree that it was both our faults and we both messed up..." [Rin sniffled] "But in the end, what matters is, I got my wish. I think from the bottle, and not from that kyubey. We're together again and have another chance. And we live normal happy live as equals! At least, we did until we got involved with this magical girl business again. damn it..."
[Len eld her tight] "What are we goign to do..."
[An idea came to Rin as the other her whispered something] "Wait, I think there's someone who can help. I think his name was Nanbri, or was it Hacibei, or both..

[Len shook his head, then. Nanbei, Hachibei...Or was it Seven and Eight? An image of something cream colored and mussy came to him, and he shook his head.]

...OK, we can try that next.

[And then, he leaned against the back of the couch with a sigh.]

- Rin? Look, it's about Allen, but - I think he must have been really dependent on Rillanne, and not just rank-wise, mentally too, I mean. And he...probably wanted her to be dependent on him as much as he was dependent on her, I think?

[Rin sighed, and patted his head.]

...Sort of textbook co-dependency, yeah. But -

[Aand that was when there was a shuffle, and two critters that looked like bunnycats suddenly thrust their snots out from the sofa the twins were sitting on!]

[Rin eep'd as Eight rolled out from under the sofa, covered with dust.]

...Hullo, Rin - You did call us, right?

[The cream colored critter said with a grin, while the mussy haired one rolled over too, trying to get the dust out of his muzzle. The mussy haired one sighed a bit, then.]

- She'd better have been talkin' bout us - I was plannin' to keep this spare body in storage for the next couple of centuries, after all!

[the twins blinked at thenm. Len tensed up, realizing they resembled Kyubey] "You..."
"Don't worry, we're not with Kyubey." Hachibei replied calmly, brushing out his fur. "I can assure you. We are here to help you."
[Rin nodded] "I know. You've helped us in the past life, and a couple times now."
"As much as we could, correct."
"Like you're the one who gave Tomoe-san that msuic box that helps calm witches. Er, how did you get under our couch and all dusty anyway?"
"Ya don't wanna know!" [Nanbei rolled his eyes]
"Anyway, we'rre here." [Hachibei continued] "And we're going to tyr to help you. However, it's gotten late, and you've had a rough noight. I think you two should get some sleep now and we'll talk about it more in the morning."
[Len sighed and leaned back] "How can we sleep after all the crud that's happened?" [A yawn came to him anyway]
[Nanbei sniggered] "There's your answer, twerp"
"I guess you're right..." [Len tiredly helped Rin up and they went to their room]

[Rin and Len went to bed in their rooms, then. They both tossed around restlessly as they dreamed.]

[In Rin's dream]

- You know, Rillanne? This isn't going to end well, I'm afraid -

[A Kyubey said, licking at his paws.]

I mean, you don't think Miki Sayaka is the first Magical Girl who thought of retreating into her mini-world entirely, right?

[And then, a second Kyubey arrived, and began to bat around a ball with his paw.]

But a Magical Girl retreated into her mini-world with quite so many Magical Girl buddies in tow - That's sort of rare, I must admit!

[The second one said, laughing, and showed its tummy.]

Things are gonna be spectacular when they finally go Witch, don't you think?

[Miku sighed, then, and rubbed at her eyes.]

...I'm sorry I've been so - so antsy and irritable these days, Hayashi-san. I mean, I've been all stressed out, with the big concert and all...

[Her maneger smiled at her a bit more genuinely, then.]

- Oh, Miku-chan - You don't have to worry about that, that happens all the time! I mean, you're one of the most popular Idol Singers in Japan now, after all. Stars always get stressed out, it's part of the job description!

[And then, he came over and patted her on the head.]

...And your singing was even more wonderful then it always was today. Just look at all those fans - They all love you, OK? And so do we!

[Miku almost cried, then.]

...You really think so?

[Hayashi smiled, then.]

- Of course I do! I'm your Number One fan, after all, remember, Miku-chan?

[Miku nodded, then, and then remembered something, and got some CDs out of a bag. They were filled with lulluby versions of Miku's songs.]

...Here! I made those when I heard your wife was expecting - Um, we can pretend they're some kind of demo tape if anybody asks, OK?

[And that's when the magical girl Rin kicked them out.] "Thats enough of that now!" [She tuned to rillianne/rin kagamine] "Go back to sleep, and have peaceful dreams. You need it." [Rilliane/rin kagamine nodded and let herself slip back into more peaceful sleep with her brother...]

[the next morning]

[When Kyouko awoke, she was in her and Momo's room back home. Just as she always had. But when she clouched into that kitchen that morning, she subcoinciously felt a swell of tearful joy upon seeing her family there. She gave her father an extra tight hug upon seeing him.]

[And meanwhile, Sayaka awoke to find herself lying on the bottom of the river. Groggily, the memories of yesterday came back]
"..So, this is it. I'm a witch now. Sort of." [She thought to herself. She could hear a murmuring in the back of her mind. Her own voice. at least her witch self. Oktavia, that's what her name was. Well, she felt different now, expecially her lower half. upon inspection,] "And, I'm a mermaid now it seems. Isn't that something." and she found she could see and breath underwater too. The rest of her seemed huan enough, bar her skin now blue grayish and fins on her wrsists, she couldn't tell what her face was like yet. Easily getting the hang of her new mermaid half, Sayaka swam upwards and emerged from the water, hidden form public eye by the bridge. Well, being a mermaid was nice, but she'd rather be human. But when she focused on changing back, nothing happened.]

[In Sayaka's dream world.]

[Sayaka/Oktavia sighed, then, as she realized that she couldn't force herself back into a human shape, as she didn't really believe she fit inside one anymore. Human bodies were just so - so puny!]

[She thought of creating a human shaped puppet to use, but decided against it for now - She could alway create something like that, after all. So she decided to make everybody think that there was a good reason she wasn't at home or at school, and then sunk into the water again, exploring her new self and abilities.]

[And in the meanwhile, Kyoko was happily heading off to Mitakihara Middle School.]

...Hi, Madoka, hi, Mami!

[She said happily, as she caught sight of her friends. And then, she looked around them with a blink.]

- Wait, where's Sayaka?

[Mami and Dream Madoka looked at each other, then.]

- Sayaka-chan isn't here, Kyoko-chan! She has something very important to do!

[Dream Madoka said with a smile, and Mami laughed.]

...Oh, right - Sayaka-san is at the Music Academy with Kyosuke-san, right, Madoka-san? She's auditioning for a schoolarship or something, she said, I think...

"yes, she was!" [Madoka clapped her hands] "I'm so happy for Sayaka! She deserves it, she really is so talented with music!"
"Heh, guess so." [though Kyouko onyly really knew Sayaka for a couple weeks so far, but, somehting felt close...] "She'd better keep in touch."
[the dream Homura nodded quietly, staying near Madoka]
"I'm sure she will" [Mami patted Bebe and place her into her back as they approached school. Mami headed off to the upperclassman section while Kyouko, Maodka and Homura headed to their classroom. As Kyouko's eyes drifted to the empty seat where Sayaka usually sat, she could hear some of the classmates gosspining nearby]
"Did you hear? There's a mermaid in the river by the Kojiro disctrcit!"
"What? No way!"
"Really! Rika saw her! There was a girl in the river and there was a big pretty fishtail, course it was only a second,"
"And then there was a very lovely voice singing, and Toma kun got all dazed!"

[Inside Sayaka's mini world]

[Sayaka-Oktavia, in the meanwhile, was sitting on a convienient rock in the now very pretty-looking river, singing softly to herself in Witch-speak.]

...Awwww! That's so lovely, Sayaka!

[The boy sitting on the other side of the river said, clapping his hands. Sayaka-Oktavia looked at the boy, and tilted her head - Did she know any boys that looked like half transperant shadows, changing colors and shapes as she watched?]

[And then, she grinned, and said in Witchspeak - ]

< Kyosuke! Hi! >

[A Kyubey, in the meanwhile, was looking at both of them, serenely. The fake Kyosuke boy was well on to the way of turning into a Familiar in it's own right, it seemed...]

[In the outside world]

[Rin woke up with a groan, and rubbed her eyes. What the heck had happened? And why were there warm lumps sitting on her feet, anyway?]

[And then, Eight and Seven grinned at her from their perch on top of her beds covers.]

- Cheerios, Kagamine Rin!

[Eight said with a grin. Rin stared at both of the critters for a long moment, and then unceremoniously kicked both of them off her bed.]

...Get off, you damn idiots!

- But Rillanne! I thought you used to liked it when we pretended we were your pets!

[Seven laughed as both of the critters hit the floor feet first.]

[Rin groaned - And that was when she realized that Len was sitting on a sofa next to her bed, snoring lightly. Wait a minute, hadn't she seen him go to his side of the room on the other side of the bookcase before they both went to bed?]

[...And was that their mother, snoozing on the other sofa?]

[What the bloody friggity frack!]

[the dream Kyousuke waded out to Sayaka Oktavia on her rock, not minding the the cuffs of his nice pants were getting wet. He took her hands and kissed her scaly cheek]
< You're already back from the auditions? I'm happy > [the mermaid smiled]
"Yes. I just had to see you again, my love." [He seemed to understand the witchspeak just well. Justified, since he was a familiar by now. The fact that he wasn't the real Kyousuke was dimming in Sayaka's mind. She was here in this lovely place, safe, with the boy of her dreams who liked her back...]

[meanwhile]
[Rin pouted and crossed her arms] "Listen, I'm not Princess rillianne anymore. I'm Rin Kagamine! That was the past, this is the present!"
"You're right. I'm sorry, miss Kagamine" [Eight nodded his head]
"Yeah, we'll make sure to keep that in mind, princess!" [Seven hopped onto the sofa and padded on Len, who groaned and shifted in his sleep.]
"Okay..." [Rin yawned and rubbed at her head. Her bangs fluffed up similar to Len's without her hairpins]

[In the outside world]

[The Kagamine household]

[Len giggled, then, and tried to make his sister's bangs settle down.]

...You look so much like me like that, Rin!

[And then, he giggled nostaligicly.]

- Do you remember when we used to exchange our clothes, and pretend to be each other?

[Rin laughed, at that - But then, her smile froze, and she sighed.]

...Yeah, I do, but on the other hand, the last time Rillanne exchanged clothes with her brother was - well, you do get it, right?

[Len groaned at that, too.]

...Sorry, Rin...

[And then, he looked at their still snoozing mother, and sighed a bit.]

- Neither of us could sleep, and so we just decided to spend some time watching you first, but then...We're really much too alike, sometimes, mother and me.

[Rin nodded, and patted her brother's arm. She then looked at Eight and Seven.]

...Let's go to the living room and talk, OK? Mom needs her beauty sleep, I think...

[Outside Mitakihara Middle School]

[Copy Sayaka was happily humming to herself as she walked, her mobile at her ear.]

[And then, she sniffed at the air, and stopped talking.]

[...Was that the smell of a Witch in the air?]

"Right." [Len nodded and the twins went to the living room. Rin settled on the couch while Len went to get them some coffee]
"And some donuts while you're at it, squirt!" [Seven called out. Len rolled his eyes but brought out what pastries they had anyway]
"so then..." [Len sighed as he came back into the living room] "What do you have to tell us about this whole weird thing going on?

[meanwhile]
[The copy Sayaka frowned and said goodbye to Kyouske, who had to miss class because of an adutition, and hung up. After sending a text to Madoka saying she'll have to miss the next to classes and to come up with an excuse for her, Sayaka ran over in the direction of the witch by the tennis courts. Sure enough the scenery changed, going to that of a playroom and a crayon drawing. Huh, the same labyrinth as the one where she first encountered Kyouko. Must be the same witch who got away] "Bingo!" [She changed into her magical girl form and ran further. She could hear cries of terror and she soon came upon those crayon drawing familiars that she chased that day. They were playing with a girl, Sayaka reconized her as a classmate. but oddly enough her body was now perfectly round like a ball and bouncing. Sayaka growled and rushed foward, clicing though the familiars, defeating them] "Shizuka! Ar eyou all right?"
"S-sayaka?" [the girl sobbed] "Those things turned me into a ball!" [There was a giggle and the witch came out. she was a young witch, a little girl seemed to be made form a drawing, with a pale face, blank black eyes, bunchy pigtails and wearing overalls and stiped stockings. The witch ran over and ugged sayaka's leg, gabbing in witch talk cheerfully]

[Meanwhile, in the dream world, Kyko was having lunch up on the school roof with Mami and the dream homura and dream Madoka.]
"...So, whatcha make of that mermaid theyve been talkin about?" [Kyouko wondered loud.]
"Hm? Mermaid?" [Mami looked up from wiping a smear off of Bebe, who was in a new frilly dress Mami has made for her]

[In the outside world]

[The Kagamine house]

[Eight and Seven looked at each other, and then Seven shook his head, looking at Eight.]

...You first, squirt.

[And then, Seven chomped at the donut. Eight, in the meanwhile, had sighed a bit, too.]

- OK, first things first - You already know that Tomoe Mami and Sakura Kyoko now reside within Sakuya Miki's miniworld, right? And so you may think that things are all right for now, but quite frankly - They aren't.

[And then, Seven waved his paw, still holding the donut.]

...The mini world does slow down the Witching process, but in the end, it only produces even more powerful Witches - Or that's how things have usually worked anyway. It's already started to expell dark energies, which is good for the people inside, we suppose, but not at all good for the people living outside it. The dark energies usually head straight for the nearest Witch Barrier outside, energizing them and making them grow even faster then they would have.

[Rin nodded at that.]

...But wait - The bluehead herself hasn't shut herself up in her dreamworld, right? Wouldn't that slow down the Witchfication process even more?

[The two critters looked at each other.]

- Well, about that, you see...

"She's a fake" [Seven said casually, chomping on a donut]
"She must have conjured up a copy of herself to reside in the outside world, so her firends and family wouldn't worry" [Eight continued] "As for the real Sayaka, she's still in that world. And she's reach a sort of limit point, last we saw. She is transfromed about half way into a witch. But she still seems to have her mind and control of her witch side, and she lost a lot of power."
[Len nodded grimly] "...What about Miku?

[meanwhile, the copy sayaka looked down at the witch hugging her with surprise. Weren't witches hideous wicked monsters, not playful little girls? no, this had to be a trick of some kind!] "You don't fool me, witch!" [Sayaka raised her sword, about to strike the witch through]
[meanwhile in the dream world, Kyouko, Muching on her sandwich, nodded at Mami] "Yeah. I heard classmates talking about a mermaid spotted at the Kojiro river."
"Interesting... Ah, Bebe, hold still! Naughty girl, you alreayd got your new clothes dirty!"
"Think we should check it out?"

[The outside world - Kaganime household]

[Seven and Eight looked at each other, then, quizzically.]

Hatsune Miku's Witch is still in Miki Sayaka's mini-world, as far as we know?

[Eight said, while Seven sighed.]

...And dinna ask me what happened to her "soul core" thing, all right? We still have no idea where those things come from, or where they disappear to after living things die. So creepy!

[And then, Eight shuddered a bit.]

- And according to a rather strange female magic user I once met, even we Incubators have them, too. I have no idea what to think about that - I mean, what would a "soul core" thing even want to inhabit me, anyway?

[The outside world - Outside the school]

[The little Witch glibbered in Witch-speak at Sayaka, then, and jumped away.]

< You're no fun, Oneechan! >

- I don't wanna be any fun for you, you little -

[Copy Sayaka snarled - And then, she blinked.]

...Wait. You talk?

[Len just sighed] "So, what are we going to do about that Kyubey? Just ignore him?"

[The witch just stuck her tongue out at the magical girl] "Meanie onee chan!"
[Strange, how could a witch talk normally? No wait, she was still speaking that witch language, but now Sayaka could understand it.... her thoughts were interrupted by the witch running over to play with the school girl turned ball] "Get away from her, witch!!" [Sayaka ran over and managed to slash the witche's arm]
"Owie!" [The witch sniffled, and started to cry. Her wails were extremely loud and reverbertaing, causing Sayaka to freeze up and cover her ears in pain form the noise]

[meanwhile in the dream world, ]
[Bebe pouted cutely in apology] "Im sorry, Mami nee chan..."
"It is all right, bebe. Just try to eat cleaner form now on." [Mami smiled and patted Bebe's pink head
Kyouko roleld her eyes] "Hey! you gonna answer me or what, Mami?"

[The outside world - Kagamine household]

...Ignoring him isn't going to work, but you're going to have to figure out how to work around his machinations, sure enough.

[Eight said, eventually, while Seven sighed.]

- Yeah, we haveta do that all the time. so buck up, OK?

[And then, they both looked at each other.]

...First things first, though - Number one, Miki Sayaka's Dream World. You're going to have to figure out what to do with it sooner or later, I think. We did think of trying to nab it, and bringing it over to someplace with less people, but - We're not sure leaving it someplace with no easy outlet for the dark energies to go too is a good idea either, you see...

[Outside the school]

[Copy Sayaka shook her head, then, and materialized some earplugs, sticking them in her ears.]

...Yeahhh - Much better!

[She snarled, and then tried to attack the Witch - Only to have her attacks hit the Witch, and fade away in sparklings!]

< Haaah? >

[The Witch stared at the sparkles, and then clapped her hands happily, as Copy Sayaka's mouth dropped open.]

< Do that again, Onee-chan! >

[Inside the dream world]

[Mami groaned, then, and looked at Kyoko.]

...A mermaid? The poor thing - To have to put up with ugly concrete covered river like that!

[Kyoko laughed, then.]

- Come on, let's go check it out - There's no way to know if it's a Dark Shadow or just one of the harmless ones unless we take a gander at it, right?

"Oh Miku, how thoughtful of you!" [her manager hugged her] "You're a good girl. I'm sure my wife, and child, will love it."
"You're very welcome, Hayashi san" Miku's smile brightened
[her patted her head] "Now go on. You're up!"
"Right!" [Mikue started to head onstage. Her mood was dampened was Kyubey reappeared by her feet."
" Ah yes, Miku Hastune. To answer your earlier question about Miyu Takahashi. The answer is, she has already made the transition." [he informed, follwing her]
[she paused[ "...what transition?"
"the one all magical girls eventually make" [he replied causually]
"..what are you talking about?"

Miku sniffed at the Kyubey, then.]

- Oh, never mind - It's probably nothing good, anyway. Nothing good ever seems to come from you - Even the nice things end up turning bad!

[And then, she walked onto the stage, as the Kyubey sweatdropped. Miku almost dropped her mike as she realized that she'd actually succeeded in flummoxed the creepy white thing for a change - And then, she laughed. It served him right, after all!]

[And then, she bowed to her fans.]

- Thanks, everybody! And now, this is my last song in today's program, an oldie but a goodie - Hatsune Miku's Princess of Evil, inspired by the famous legend and folks songs!

[And then, she began to sing. Rin, in the meanwhile, was groaning in the audience.]

...Did you have to? Really, Miku... Sure, sure, I was the one who made at least half of those folk songs everybody still remembers now, but -

[Len shot her a quick glance, then, but then, he bit his lip. What in the world was going on?]

[And then, the Kyubey went up to the stage, and gave an annoyed cough.]

(...Are you quite done, Hatsune Miku?)

[Miku gave him a bloodthirsty grin, and sent back mind to mind - ]

(- Almost, almost.)

[And then, she finished the song, and gave everybody a graceful bow as her fans cheered.]

- Thanks, everybody!

[And then, she smiled, an actually happy looking glint in her eyes.]

...And please remember, whatever happens - I really love all of you, and I never would have been able to come as far as I did without you.

[Her fans looked at each other, then, murmuring.]

...Wait - Miku-chan's...Miku-chan's not going to quit or anything, right?

[Miku, in the meanwhile, was now looking at Kyubey.]

(Oh, wait, Kyubey - You were going to tell me something important, now, right?)

[The Kyubey nodded back at her.]

(...Oh, yes - But perhaps, I didn't have to. I mean, it's the same thing I told a certain Princess Michelle of the Green Kingdom a couple of hundred Earth years ago, after all!)

[Miku sighed a bit, then.]

(I didn't want to remember, so I didn't, for a long time. It kept coming up in my nightmares, but I kept pushing them away, you know? But now, I do remember.)

[And then, Miku and the Kyubey both chimed.)

(All Puella Magi turn into Witches, if they don't die first. That is their fate, and their destiny)

[And Miku turned toward her fans, for the last time.]

...So everybody, thank you. This will be Hatsune Miku's final concert - And now, I wish everybody a goodbye and a farewell!

[And then, the magic roared up toward the skies, as Miku began to change.]

[Rin groaned again, and rammed a magical shield around her brother and mother.]

- So here it starts - Len! Hold on to Mom!

( len frowned more at that) " and why us? Look no offense but we want nothing to do with this magical girl business."
"Yeah, ask one of those other girls!" ( rin pouted, crossing her arms) " besides we dont even really know this sayaka miki! So its none of our business!"
( len nodded again) " so, unless you can get kyubey to leave us alone, or to turn miku back to normal...)

( copy sayaka gritted and attacked ahain. She couldnt have gotten weak could she! Thr litle witch ran about giggling cheerfully,)

" very well." Mami replied, putting away her lunch
" right! Lets go then!" ( kyouko pumped her fist. even though she had a couple classes left for the day, and she lnew she shouldn't waste her scholarship, but she had to check thisout!)

[The outside world - Kagamine household]

[The two rouge Incubators looked at each other, then.]

...Rin? I do get your point, and we were planning to go and talk to some of the other girls too eventually, but - I don't think it is that simple, to be honest.

[Eight said with a sigh - And then, Seven nodded too.]

- Hey, Rin-girl? You do realized you've become a Magical Girl now, right?

[Rin stared at both of them, and then put her hand to her Soul Gem.]

...Wait a sec, damn it - I didn't make any Contract with any Incubator this time around, I'm sure of it!

[Eight and Seven looked at each other, then.]

...You're right. Hmmm, that is interesting, indeed.

[Eight said - And then, Seven waved a cream colored paw.]

- May we take a look at your Soul Gem?

[And outside the school...]

[Copy Sayaka groaned. All her attacks were just turning into harmless sparkles, as the Witch jumped around happily!]

< More! More! >

- Just cut it out, damn you!

[She said - Ball ! Shizuka was giving her sad looks as she was rolled about by the magical energies, but she had no idea what to do!]

[And that was when an idea struck her.]

...Hey, you!

[She said, and pointed a finger at the Witch.]

- Let's make a bargain. You turn Shizuka back, and I'll - I'll come play with you tommorow, too! What do you say?

[And inside Sayaka's mini world...]

[Mami bit her lip, then.]

...Oh, no - You should take your classes, Kyoko! I don't want your grades to go down - What if you lost your scholarship?

[And then, she smiled.]

- I'm sure the mermaid wouldn't disappear in a couple of hours... I do wish it was after school already, though!

[And then, both Mami and Kyoko blinked as the entire scene shifted. All of a sudden, it was after school, and they were both walking toward the school gates!]

...Did something strange happen just now?

[Mami said, hesitantly. Kyoko looked at her, and blinked.]

- Hey, you feel that way too? I have the feeling something really weird happened just now, but...I can't figure out for the life of me what it was!

[Rin hesitated, feeling frustrated, but eventually handed the gem to the incubators] "Hmph. Fine... And what do you mena, it;'s not that simple!"

[meanwhile,
The witch tilted her head curiously] "Hm? You will?"
"yes, I promise. As long as you turn Shizuka back, and promise not to curse anymore people." [Sayaka kneltdown to the witches leve, trying to smile kingdlyl] "Ok then?"
"Hmm..... ok then, onee chan!"[The witch clapped her hands, and Shizuka deflated back into her normal size and shape. Shizuka groaned and collapsed to the ground tiredly.]

[meanhwile]
"Hm. Stange. Ah well." [Mami shrugged.] "It was probably nothing." [They boarded the bus and headed to the Kojiro district to where the mermaid was said to have been spotted. There was actually a nice grassy area near the shore, so Mami had brought along a picnic while they were waiting. ]
"Hm. No sign of her yet..." [Kyouko murmured as she gazed over the water, searching for the mermaid]
"Are you sure this is where she was?" Mami questioned, sipping her tea
"Well, that's what they said!" [Kyouko sighed, a bit frustrated as she looked back at Mami. She did not notice a figure slink out of the water and grab the nearest sandwich. Bebe let out a yelp of surprise. Kyouko noticed out oof the corner of her eye and growled, grabbing the persons wrist] "Try to steal my food, will ya! I'll _" [She froze as she realized who it was. It was Sayaka. But her skin was now blue grayish, her eyes silver, fins on her ears and wrists, nd where her lower half shpould be was now a colorful mermaid tail] "...Sayaka? yiu're the mermaid?"
[Sayaka hissed at her, baring sharp teeth, and pulled away, splashign back into the water

[The outside world - The Kagamine household]

[Eight sighed a bit, then.]

What I meant, Rin, was that since you're a Puella Magi again, you really can't ignore what's going on in the Puella Magi society in general. What if Miki Sayaka's mini world ended up turning into the biggest Witch Barrier ever or something, for example?

[And then, he took a look at Rin's Soul Gem, and blinked.]

...Though on the other hand - This is quite interesting, indeed.

[He poked at the Soul Gem with his paw.]

- Hmm, the golden musical note is still there, but the D'aurich family crest is gone, it seems?

[And then, Seven shook his head.]

...No, it's not entirely gone - Look at the base of the music note, there's still a miniture version of the crest there. And look here...

[And then, the rogue Incubators put their furry heads together, mumbling.]

- How strange - I can't tell where those energy links are going to, at all. And look here - This doesn't look like a normal Soul Gem to me at all, to be frank...

[The outside world - Outside the school.]

[The little Witch grinned, then.]

< Okay, then, Nee-chan - Don't forget your promise! .

[And then, she bounced away and faded, just like that. Copy Sayaka stared at where the little Witch had been, and then she sighed, and bent down to Shizuka.]

...Hey, are you OK?

[Shizuka simply groaned, and then slumped over, closing her eyes. Copy Sayaka started for a moment, but then relaxed when she saw that Shizuka had started to snore a bit.]

- Hey, come on...

[She groaned, and then sat on the ground next to Shizuka, wondering what to tell her when she woke up - ]

[And then, she blinked as she caught sight of her Soul Gem. She de-transformed, and took it in her hand to look at it better.]

[Her Soul Gem was almost all clear, with just one small black spot to the side. Copy Sayaka stuck her nose next to the Soul Gem, trying to get a better look at it - And then, a small ball of dark energies popped out of her Soul Gem, and nearly hit her in the face as it floated away into the skies!]

...Ouch!

[Copy Sayaka muttered, shaking her head - And then, she stared at her Soul Gem again. Even the little black spot was gone, now, and her entire Soul Gem seemed serene and clean.]

[Inside Sayaka's mini-world]

[Sayaka-Oktavia looked up at them from inside the water, then, her mermaid ears twitching.]

< Mami-Candrelo. Kyoko-Ophelia. Hello, hello? >

[That were her friends names, right?]

"And what about that energy link connecting to Len?"
"Well their souls are connected in a way" [The roguen incubators continued examining
Rin pouted and curled onto Len] "I don't care... I don't wanna be involved..." [There was a shuffling as the twin's mother came into the room,still waking up. The twins paused, wondering what if she saw these two strange critters]

[Copy Sayaka blinked and stared.Was that normally supposed to happen? Well,, it was probably nothing... Now, what to do about Shizuka. She couldn't very well left her here, so Sayaka hoisted her up. shizuka finally awoke] "ah.. ah?! Where's that creepy littlle girl and those drawings! It was so scary! I was all fat and round and bouncing and sayaka san had a sword and_"
"Woah, that sounds like some dream, shizuka san!" [Sayaka chuckled]

[Kyouko was aghast and was frozen for a few moments, before they heard her speaking telepatically] "Sayaka..." [though what were candloro and ophelia? though they did sound familiar. Kyouko knelt closeer to the water while Sayaka Oktavia peeked her head out a bit cautiously
