[Inside Sayaka's dreamworld]

...That's all right, Kyoko. I...I really did deserve at least some of what you said to me, I think...

[The little Witches squeaked, then, and tried to jump on Mami's lap. Mami patted them with a tearful smile...]

[And that was when Sayaka got an idea! She mumbled the wish under her breath, hoping it would work the way she wanted it too.]

[And that was when Mami's mobile phone began to ring! Mami took it out, and then stared at it for a long moment.]

- M...M...Mom!?!?!?

[Sayaka gave her friends a bittersweet smile, then, and turned away for a moment. There was no reason Mami-san shouldn't have the comfort of having her family with her, after all, even if they weren't exactly the real item.]

[And then, she looked at Kyoko, thinking. She could do the same thing for Kyoko, right?]

[But then, she sat down on the sofa, rubbing her head. Darn, this was so tiring...]

[In the outside world.]

[Kyosuke got up to his feet when the girls appeared, and came running toward them.]

...Sayaka! You're all right!

[The copy Sayaka blinked for a moment, feeling disoriented. Um, what?]

[And then, she grinned as she saw Kyosuke running toward them.]

- Kyosuke! Oh, good, you're all right too!

[Madoka stared at them, and rubbed at her temples, wondering why this felt so wrong, all of a sudden - ]

[And then, a young man in a I love Miku T-shirt popped up, and slumped over one of the other seats.]

...OK, that's probably the last of the audience, I hope...

[Homura said with a tired smile, and then turned toward the copy Sakaya, though she had no idea that she was a copy.]

- So Miki Sayaka. - Have Tomoe and Sakura decided to stay in that little dream world of yours, or what?

[And in the meanwhile, some other Kyubeys were looking at the fake Sayaka. She was a lot like Miki Sayaka herself, but the power levels -Oh, right, so she was a magical construct with powers that were supposed to mimic a Puella Magi's? It wasn't exactly the first time they'd seen such a being, but still.]

[The copy didn't seem to be as powerful as the real Miki Sayaka by a long shot, but on the other hand, she did seem to be much more stable. Hmmm, very interesting indeed!]

[Kyuoko smiled wryly as she watched Mami talk to her late parents. Apparently in this world they were just away on a business trip.]
"so Sayaka, you got a lot of power in this dreamer world of yours, dontcha."
[Sayaka shrugged] "I don't know exactly how much. But I figured, I could try this for her... Maybe, for you, too..."
"What, recreate my lost family?" [Kyuoko chuckled dryly an lay back on the sofa] "Nah, what's the point if I know they're not real?" [she sighed and closed her eyes] "I admit though...it would be nice to have that happy dream. Even if it is just a dream..."
"Well, you deserve a happy dream, Kyoko..."
"thanks..." [they two lay there a while in comfort. Later when Kyoko went to sleep, Sayaka has made her descision. She madde the wish for Kyoko's family to be back, as if that tragedy had never happened. And Kyoko wouldnt know.
This was it, so much of her energy was spent on those past few wishes. Sayaka didn't know what was going to happen to her, but she knew she proably going to last much longer as she was now. She had to get out of here. At least Mami and Kyoko would be happy now... Sayaka stumbled outside to the river and let herself fall into the water. As darkness oevrtook her she could feel her body changing..]

[meanwhile, the sayaka copy just shrgged] "They'll be back soon,"

[In the outside world]

[Madoka stared at the girl she thought was the original Sayaka, and rubbed her head.]

...You're sure of that?

[The copy Sayaka shrugged.]

- I just had a feeling, that's all.

[Inside Sayaka's mini world.]

[Sayaka swam and swam, as her body changed.]

...I will control you, Witch Me, and you will not control me - For such is my wish.

[She whispered - And then, she blinked as a chunk of dark energies started to swirl around, and make their way out of her mini world. Well, yeah, that would probably make things easier to control, right?]

[And in another part of the dreamworld...]

[Kyoko awoke to somebody trying to put an ice cream on her head.]

...Wakey-wakey, Nee-chan!

[A girl who looked just like her sister said with a grin.]

[And in the outside world...]

[An Kyubey looked on as several large chunks of dark energies appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. He did not look very surprised at what was happening.]

[Madoka shugged] "Well, I'm sure you're right. they're quite dependable after all. But, are you all right?"
"I'm fine, thanks Madoka" ['sayakat' stretched]
"That's good. And it seems like everyone else is going to be all right. [Except for poor Miku...]
"Well, we should probably all head home now." [Kyouske suggested] "I can give you a ride"

[meanwhile, Sayaka had shed enough enough darkness to be able to control herself decently. But by then she had already greatly changed. And she was exhausted now. She curled up near some rocks under a bridge and fell asleep.
[meanwhile, Kyoko groaned and wiped the flecks of cream off her face] "Momo? What are you doing here?"
"Mami nee let me in!" [the red haired child grinned] "It's time to go home now! Mama's waiting outside"
"Ok then. Heh lucky you, you got to stay up late!" kyouko sat up and patted Momo's head. "Thanks for the tea mami! see you at school!"

[In the outside world.]

[Madoka and Sayaka accepted Kyosuke's offer, as they lived close together, and so they went home in Kyosuke's parents car. Madoka was relieved to see that Kyosuke's parents had seemed to be all right. And thank goodness that Sayaka had changed her mind about shutting herself up in her dreamworld, she thought.]

[But on the other hand...]

[Madoka took a good look at Sayaka, who was talking with Kyosuke, and frowned. Sayaka seemed more stable and solid then she'd seen in a while, on one hand, but on the other hand...]

[It really was weird. Why did Madoka's subconsious keep insisting that Sayaka had shrunk, somehow, anyway?]

[A Kyubey, in the meanwhile, had already arrived in front of the Miku residence. It did want to see what would happen when this copy of Miki Sayaka tried to transform, after all...]

[And in the meanwhile, Homura was looking at Rin and Len, wondering wheather she should go and talk to them or not.]

[Eventually they pulled up to Madoka's house] "Here we are, Madoka. I hope you have a good night." [Kyousuke smield at her kindly]
"Thanks Kyousuke. I'll see you at school. you sure you'll be all rigth Sayaka?"
"Course I will, Madoka! why wouldn't I be?"

[Rin groaned and stretched] "Well, what a night. Not much we can do about it now.So things did not turn out well, not too surprising. Let's just go now."
[Len still seemed stunned and sad] "Miku's gone... And you're, taking this rather lightly!"
"That's just how it goes. She got lucky in the end."
"Lucky?! you're unbelievable!" He grabbed Rin's wrist

[Rin stared at Len's hand grabbing her wrist, and grabbed his hand with her other hand.]

...Stop grabbin' me when I'm like this, you damn idiot...

[She growled, pulling his hand off hers almost effortlessly.]

- I would have knocked you into the walls or worse if you were anybody else, you damned dummy!

[And then, she rubbed at her eyes, willing the tears to go away. Rillanne d'Aurich wouldn't have cried, just because some girl she'd known had - gone Witch, and then gone away...]

[But then - She wasn't really the Princess of Evil anymore, was she now?]

[Len, in the meanwhile, was almost seething.]

- You - You - What the hell are you, anyway? Are you even my sister at all!?!?

[Rin stared at him, then - And then, a memory rose to the top of her mind, unbidden.]

[A young Allen when they were young members of the Royalty together. And then, a older Allen, when he'd first been introduced to her as her Royal Servant. And a long time after that - ]

[Allen was on one knee in front of her, telling her that he'd gotten rid of the Green Kingdom's Princess Michelle, and that everything would be all right now...]

[- Except that that had been a big fat lie. Things had gone from bad to worse after that, and she'd lost everything, even Allen.]

[...Allen's eyes had been sort of dead after he'd killed the Green Princess, Rin realized now. Why hadn't Rillanne realized that? Or maybe she had, and had just chosen to ignore it, like she'd ignored so many inconvieniet things in her not very long life.]

[And then, Allen had chosen to sacrifice himself in her place.]

[...But why had he done that, anyway? Rin's whole body shook, as she realized that Allen probably hadn't have to really sacrifice himself at all. Why hadn't he tried to just take her with him and run away? They could have run away to some far away country, or even faked their deaths and madee some new identities for themselves if Allen didn't want to do that... Allen'd had the skills, resources and connections to do that kind of thing, after all.]

[So why hadn't he?]

[Rilliane could remember more now. That last day of the revolution and her pride was lost, leaving a frightened young girl who didn't know what to do. Len waited in her chambers with her, keeping silent. Then he slipped on one of her simpler dresses and gave her his own clothing, She tried to plead with him not to do this, but she was so scare and she helped him complete his makeover, a perfect mirror of her. and all she could do was hide as they took him away. And watch from the crowd as he gave her one last sad smile, and the blade fell... she felt part of her soul ripped away, leaving her hollow. She fled, was found, lamented her sins, and she wrote the message and the wish... then that creature appeared. she made the contract. And a new her was born. What was left of princess Rilliane was gone, probably floated off to Join Allen in whatever afterlife they deserved. What remained now was Rin the magical girl. And here they were over 200 years later, and it seems the wish was grnted. Rillianne and Allen have been reborn, and she herself had woken up and taken over. She could still hear rin kagamine simpering in her mind]

[The girl shook herself, then.]

[But was she really Rillanne? First there had been Rillanne the Doomed Princess, and then there had been Rillanne the hard eyed Magical Girl, and then...]

[A vision of two babies came to her, then, and she shook her head. Well, at least one of Rillanne's children had probably managed to survive and carry on the bloodline, she supposed, or otherwise Kagamine Rin and Len would never had existed.]

[And as for herself...]

[The Rin inside her mind came up to her, then, and sharply whapped her on the head.]

(You're much more like me by now then any version of Rillanne, and you know it.)

[And then, the Rin whapped her again.]

(And I do not frigging "simper", damn it!)

[The girl groaned, then.]

(But I never said you simpered!)

(It's the same if you were thinking it deep down, silly, we're both in the same mindspace now, remember?)

(...But I didn't...How am I supposed to...)

[And then, she girl sighed again - And then, she grinned.]

(Oh, fine, fine. Whatever.)

[And then, she looked at Len with a sigh.]

...I'm still your twin sister Rin, or she's here with me, anyway. Sort of.

It's like a rainbow cocktail, you know? Rin's the base, with other stuff layered on top.

[And then, she went up to Len, and put a hand to the side of his head.]

- About you, though - I'm not very sure about you at all, to be honest.

...Are you sure you're just Kagamine Len?

[Len stared at her, then, as a wave of disorientation hit him. A castle, and a smiling girl with his sister's face in a beautiful dress - ]

[Len wavered faintly for a moment, but shook it off and pushed Rin's hand away in frustration] "Maybe not. But that doesn't matter now... I know for sure that you are not my sister! Give her back to me!"
"Look, I am trying to help you both! you know by now what bad news that Kyubey is! But you don't know just how myuch you're dealing with!"
"Just as long as I can protect Rin..."
"Oh, here you go again!" [Rin clenched her fists in sudden anger "You keep going on about caring for her, when all your blind loyalty ended up messing her up even more! You even messed yourself up! Always making her happy when all it was doing was hiding the problem! And in the end, you abandoned her anyway!" ][she shoved him] "Giving up your life for her? There were other ways, Len! Did you really not think of that, or was it your own self pity? And didn't you think of what would happen to her afterwards? Your death tore her apart, she was alreayd messed up enough as it is, and you left her all alone! Fortunately she did find help after, but what if she didn't? She would have been fine in life or detah staying by your side! Maybe you're the selfish one!"

[Len snarled at Rin, then, his teeth bared.]

- My dear sister and liege wouldn't have wanted to stay by me in death, you damn fool - She wasn't the type to choose her own death, no matter what happened. And she never would have managed to keep her mouth shut about her real identity, even if I'd managed to get her fake ones - Well, not as long as I was there to clean up her messes and keep up her identity as the Queen, anyway.

And as for the idea of running off to a far off land -

[Len then sank to his knees, tears coming out of his eyes, and looked down at the floor.]

...We used to make up stories, Michelle and I. We'd sit under the trees and look up at the sky and make up stories about Michelle being a princess and I being a prince, and running off to far off lands and having adventures...

[He wiped his eyes, then.]

- And then, all of a sudden, some people in livery came along, and bang, Michelle of the Green Moutain Village was gone, and Princess Michelle was there in her place. And then, a prince on a white horse did come along, but he wasn't me, don't you see?

[Len raised his eyes, then, and started to speak in a monotone.]

...I could have...run away with her anyway, you know. I'd even made some plans of getting us both away to the New Continent.

- But then, Mila - Rillanne would have been all alone. And I...I...

"Well, your sister was a fool! She was realizing it by the end of the revolution! But she was too frightened to come up with anything herself! She would have followed you with anything at that point, but you didn't trust her enough, did you! You just left her alone even though you promised to stay by her side!" [The Rin shoved him again] "And then it was too late! " [She norrowed her eyes as Len started talking about Michelle. Even the real Rin twinged at that. Oh, out of all the things it had gone back to that subject first! Not even about his own feelings of dependence or standing up for himself a decent exlanation for why he let her get out of hand or anything! Ok, so Rillianne/Rin had accepted that she had to let him go for his own romance, and she had really hurt him by having him kill the girl he loved. But really, why bring that up now! ] "...But you did leave Rillianne in the end." [Rin shook her head] "Such a hard choice, between your own beloved twin and the pure girl you were in love with..."
[Len sighed morosely] "You don't understand...."
"..whatever..." [she shrugged] "Fine then. I'll let her go. But I'll be waiting in the background." [With that she relinquished control of Rin. Rin collasped into her brother's arms]

[Rin huffed, as she leaned against her brother.]

...So you know what I feel like, now, I suppose...

[She muttered after a while.]

[Len growled a bit, and then hugged her, tears in his eyes.]

...It's really you. Hi, Rin.

[And then, he smiled, tearfully.]

- I - I just want to go home, now. Let's go find Mother, all right?

[And Rin nodded at that, too, feeling her eyes tear up herself.]

[Their mother had been quite all right once they woke her up, though she had seened to be a bit dazed, and they had come home without mishap, though Len had no idea to tell her about what had happened to Miku, to be honest. And now, their mother was sleeping, and Len was trying to decide what to do.]

...Um...Rin? Can we talk?

[He eventually said, once he found his sister in the living room, looking intently at the TV.]

- Shuuush!

[She said, and then looked at the TV screen again. Miku was singing for one moment on the stage, and then her expression changed, and then -]

[- Utter blackout.]

...Huh. So the cameras didn't pick anything up from inside that - place- it seems. Thank the frigging goodness.

[Rin muttered with a sigh.]

"Huh, so they were already airing it?" [Len sat beside Rin]
"this channel at least. though, with eyewitness roports..."
"It doesnt seem like anyone remembered what happened when they woke up. As far as anyone knows, Miku had a mental breakdown and disappeared..." [Len looked saddened] "..Is it true, what really happened to her?"
"I guess so, according to that other me. She knows about all that. I got glimpses of her memories... and memories of my life, in the past."
"I have as well... when you were Rilliane. and I was Allen." [he suddenly drew her into a tight hug] "I am so, so sorry! I only ended up hurting you in the end!"
"No, it's all my fault Lenny, I was being horrible! I didn't realize it until it was too late..."
"But I,"
"Maybe, we can agree that it was both our faults and we both messed up..." [Rin sniffled] "But in the end, what matters is, I got my wish. I think from the bottle, and not from that kyubey. We're together again and have another chance. And we live normal happy live as equals! At least, we did until we got involved with this magical girl business again. damn it..."
[Len eld her tight] "What are we goign to do..."
[An idea came to Rin as the other her whispered something] "Wait, I think there's someone who can help. I think his name was Nanbri, or was it Hacibei, or both..

[Len shook his head, then. Nanbei, Hachibei...Or was it Seven and Eight? An image of something cream colored and mussy came to him, and he shook his head.]

...OK, we can try that next.

[And then, he leaned against the back of the couch with a sigh.]

- Rin? Look, it's about Allen, but - I think he must have been really dependent on Rillanne, and not just rank-wise, mentally too, I mean. And he...probably wanted her to be dependent on him as much as he was dependent on her, I think?

[Rin sighed, and patted his head.]

...Sort of textbook co-dependency, yeah. But -

[Aand that was when there was a shuffle, and two critters that looked like bunnycats suddenly thrust their snots out from the sofa the twins were sitting on!]

[Rin eep'd as Eight rolled out from under the sofa, covered with dust.]

...Hullo, Rin - You did call us, right?

[The cream colored critter said with a grin, while the mussy haired one rolled over too, trying to get the dust out of his muzzle. The mussy haired one sighed a bit, then.]

- She'd better have been talkin' bout us - I was plannin' to keep this spare body in storage for the next couple of centuries, after all!

[the twins blinked at thenm. Len tensed up, realizing they resembled Kyubey] "You..."
"Don't worry, we're not with Kyubey." Hachibei replied calmly, brushing out his fur. "I can assure you. We are here to help you."
[Rin nodded] "I know. You've helped us in the past life, and a couple times now."
"As much as we could, correct."
"Like you're the one who gave Tomoe-san that msuic box that helps calm witches. Er, how did you get under our couch and all dusty anyway?"
"Ya don't wanna know!" [Nanbei rolled his eyes]
"Anyway, we'rre here." [Hachibei continued] "And we're going to tyr to help you. However, it's gotten late, and you've had a rough noight. I think you two should get some sleep now and we'll talk about it more in the morning."
[Len sighed and leaned back] "How can we sleep after all the crud that's happened?" [A yawn came to him anyway]
[Nanbei sniggered] "There's your answer, twerp"
"I guess you're right..." [Len tiredly helped Rin up and they went to their room]

[Rin and Len went to bed in their rooms, then. They both tossed around restlessly as they dreamed.]

[In Rin's dream]

- You know, Rillanne? This isn't going to end well, I'm afraid -

[A Kyubey said, licking at his paws.]

I mean, you don't think Miki Sayaka is the first Magical Girl who thought of retreating into her mini-world entirely, right?

[And then, a second Kyubey arrived, and began to bat around a ball with his paw.]

But a Magical Girl retreated into her mini-world with quite so many Magical Girl buddies in tow - That's sort of rare, I must admit!

[The second one said, laughing, and showed its tummy.]

Things are gonna be spectacular when they finally go Witch, don't you think?

[And that's when the magical girl Rin kicked them out.] "Thats enough of that now!" [She tuned to rillianne/rin kagamine] "Go back to sleep, and have peaceful dreams. You need it." [Rilliane/rin kagamine nodded and let herself slip back into more peaceful sleep with her brother...]

[the next morning]

[When Kyouko awoke, she was in her and Momo's room back home. Just as she always had. But when she clouched into that kitchen that morning, she subcoinciously felt a swell of tearful joy upon seeing her family there. She gave her father an extra tight hug upon seeing him.]

[And meanwhile, Sayaka awoke to find herself lying on the bottom of the river. Groggily, the memories of yesterday came back]
"..So, this is it. I'm a witch now. Sort of." [She thought to herself. She could hear a murmuring in the back of her mind. Her own voice. at least her witch self. Oktavia, that's what her name was. Well, she felt different now, expecially her lower half. upon inspection,] "And, I'm a mermaid now it seems. Isn't that something." and she found she could see and breath underwater too. The rest of her seemed huan enough, bar her skin now blue grayish and fins on her wrsists, she couldn't tell what her face was like yet. Easily getting the hang of her new mermaid half, Sayaka swam upwards and emerged from the water, hidden form public eye by the bridge. Well, being a mermaid was nice, but she'd rather be human. But when she focused on changing back, nothing happened.]

[In Sayaka's dream world.]

[Sayaka/Oktavia sighed, then, as she realized that she couldn't force herself back into a human shape, as she didn't really believe she fit inside one anymore. Human bodies were just so - so puny!]

[She thought of creating a human shaped puppet to use, but decided against it for now - She could alway create something like that, after all. So she decided to make everybody think that there was a good reason she wasn't at home or at school, and then sunk into the water again, exploring her new self and abilities.]

[And in the meanwhile, Kyoko was happily heading off to Mitakihara Middle School.]

...Hi, Madoka, hi, Mami!

[She said happily, as she caught sight of her friends. And then, she looked around them with a blink.]

- Wait, where's Sayaka?

[Mami and Dream Madoka looked at each other, then.]

- Sayaka-chan isn't here, Kyoko-chan! She has something very important to do!

[Dream Madoka said with a smile, and Mami laughed.]

...Oh, right - Sayaka-san is at the Music Academy with Kyosuke-san, right, Madoka-san? She's auditioning for a schoolarship or something, she said, I think...

"yes, she was!" [Madoka clapped her hands] "I'm so happy for Sayaka! She deserves it, she really is so talented with music!"
"Heh, guess so." [though Kyouko onyly really knew Sayaka for a couple weeks so far, but, somehting felt close...] "She'd better keep in touch."
[the dream Homura nodded quietly, staying near Madoka]
"I'm sure she will" [Mami patted Bebe and place her into her back as they approached school. Mami headed off to the upperclassman section while Kyouko, Maodka and Homura headed to their classroom. As Kyouko's eyes drifted to the empty seat where Sayaka usually sat, she could hear some of the classmates gosspining nearby]
"Did you hear? There's a mermaid in the river by the Kojiro disctrcit!"
"What? No way!"
"Really! Rika saw her! There was a girl in the river and there was a big pretty fishtail, course it was only a second,"
"And then there was a very lovely voice singing, and Toma kun got all dazed!"

[Inside Sayaka's mini world]

[Sayaka-Oktavia, in the meanwhile, was sitting on a convienient rock in the now very pretty-looking river, singing softly to herself in Witch-speak.]

...Awwww! That's so lovely, Sayaka!

[The boy sitting on the other side of the river said, clapping his hands. Sayaka-Oktavia looked at the boy, and tilted her head - Did she know any boys that looked like half transperant shadows, changing colors and shapes as she watched?]

[And then, she grinned, and said in Witchspeak - ]

< Kyosuke! Hi! >

[A Kyubey, in the meanwhile, was looking at both of them, serenely. The fake Kyosuke boy was well on to the way of turning into a Familiar in it's own right, it seemed...]

[In the outside world]

[Rin woke up with a groan, and rubbed her eyes. What the heck had happened? And why were there warm lumps sitting on her feet, anyway?]

[And then, Eight and Seven grinned at her from their perch on top of her beds covers.]

- Cheerios, Kagamine Rin!

[Eight said with a grin. Rin stared at both of the critters for a long moment, and then unceremoniously kicked both of them off her bed.]

...Get off, you damn idiots!

- But Rillanne! I thought you used to liked it when we pretended we were your pets!

[Seven laughed as both of the critters hit the floor feet first.]

[Rin groaned - And that was when she realized that Len was sitting on a sofa next to her bed, snoring lightly. Wait a minute, hadn't she seen him go to his side of the room on the other side of the bookcase before they both went to bed?]

[...And was that their mother, snoozing on the other sofa?]

[What the bloody friggity frack!]

[the dream Kyousuke waded out to Sayaka Oktavia on her rock, not minding the the cuffs of his nice pants were getting wet. He took her hands and kissed her scaly cheek]
< You're already back from the auditions? I'm happy > [the mermaid smiled]
"Yes. I just had to see you again, my love." [He seemed to understand the witchspeak just well. Justified, since he was a familiar by now. The fact that he wasn't the real Kyousuke was dimming in Sayaka's mind. She was here in this lovely place, safe, with the boy of her dreams who liked her back...]

[meanwhile]
[Rin pouted and crossed her arms] "Listen, I'm not Princess rillianne anymore. I'm Rin Kagamine! That was the past, this is the present!"
"You're right. I'm sorry, miss Kagamine" [Eight nodded his head]
"Yeah, we'll make sure to keep that in mind, princess!" [Seven hopped onto the sofa and padded on Len, who groaned and shifted in his sleep.]
"Okay..." [Rin yawned and rubbed at her head. Her bangs fluffed up similar to Len's without her hairpins]

[The Kagamine household]

[Len giggled, then, and tried to make his sister's bangs settle down.]

...You look so much like me like that, Rin!

[And then, he giggled nostaligicly.]

- Do you remember when we used to exchange our clothes, and pretend to be each other?

[Rin laughed, at that - But then, her smile froze, and she sighed.]

...Yeah, I do, but on the other hand, the last time Rillanne exchanged clothes with her brother was - well, you do get it, right?

[Len groaned at that, too.]

...Sorry, Rin...

[And then, he looked at their still snoozing mother, and sighed a bit.]

- Neither of us could sleep, and so we just decided to spend some time watching you first, but then...We're really much too alike, sometimes, mother and me.

[There was a giggle and the witch came out. she was a young witch, a little girl seemed to be made form a drawing, with a pale face, blank black eyes, bunchy pigtails and wearing overalls and stiped stockings. The witch ran over and ugged sayaka's leg, gabbing in witch talk cheerfully]

[Meanwhile, in the dream world, Kyko was having lunch up on the school roof with Mami and the dream homura and dream Madoka.]
"...So, whatcha make of that mermaid theyve been talkin about?" [Kyouko wondered loud.]
"Hm? Mermaid?" [Mami looked up from wiping a smear off of Bebe, who was in a new frilly dress Mami has made for her]

...The mini world does slow down the Witching process, but in the end, it only produces even more powerful Witches - Or that's how things have usually worked anyway. It's already started to expell dark energies, which is good for the people inside, we suppose, but not at all good for the people living outside it. The dark energies usually head straight for the nearest Witch Barrier outside, energizing them and making them grow even faster then they would have.

[Rin nodded at that.]

...But wait - The bluehead herself hasn't shut herself up in her dreamworld, right? Wouldn't that slow down the Witchfication process even more?
