[Sayaka, in the meanwhile, and wiped her eyes and stood up straight.]

...Yeah, Kyosuke, thanks - I'm OK now, I think.

[And then, she took his hand with a smile, and raised her voice.]

- Oi! Transfer student, come out here were I can see you - I can feel you looking at me, all right!?

[There was an audible sigh, then, and Homura appeared in front of them.]

...Hello, Miki Sayaka. We appear to be in a sad pickle, as some people would say -

[And then, she snickered a bit.]

- And for once, it doesn't seem to be your fault at all. Fancy that!

[Sayaka huffed at her.]

...Of course it's not my fault, you damn idiot!

[And then, Sayaka looked around them, thinking.]

- I - I want to make a bargain with you. You're good at, what do you call it, teleporting stuff, right?

[And then, she took a deep breath.]

...You get Kyousuke and Madoka and whatever other people you can manage to carry out of here, and I'll give you the Grief Seed, once I defeat the Witch. No fuss, no muss.

- So what do you say, Akemi Homura?

[Homura nodded coolly] "I was planning on getting Madoka out of ehre anyway. But very well, I accept your offer, Sayaka Miki."
"And don't you think if I can defeat the witch, because I caan!" [Sayaka huffed]
"I suppose. But Mami and Kyouko are here as well."
"Oh, right. That will help...as long as that crazy Kyouko doens't run off with the grief seed,,," [Sayaka shook her head and tunred to Kyouskue] "I'm gonna go fight the witch now. You go with Homura here, she'll get you out."
[Kyousuke took Sayaka's hands] "Sayaka. Please be careful.
"I will, Kyouske!" [She looked at him longily for a moment, then headed off, going into magical girl mode]

[Homura sighed at Kyosuke looked after Sayaka longingly, then, and quickly grabbed at his arm.]

- Come on, now - We're running out of time!

[And then, she jumped over a couple of seats to wear Madoka was, still tugging him along.]

...Ouch!

[Kyosuke said, as he landed right next to Madoka. And then, he rubbed his head.]

- Are you OK, Kaname-san?

[Madoka, in the meanwhile, was staring at all the unconcious people around her, her eyes wide.]

...Homura-chan - We have to do something! All those people will be trapped there if we can't get them out...

'"Don't worry, Madoka."[Homura helped her up] "Once the witch is defeated, they will all be free."
"Good. I know you and Sayaka chan can do it!" [Madoka's temporary smile fell] "But, the witch is Miku. All witches were normal magical girls..."
[homura looked away, a faint look of regret on her face] "There is nothing more that can be done for them. witches are trapped. Its best for them to end..." [She would have destroyed grief seed, if she didn't have to use them to sustain herself to continue her quest]
"But I'm sure there must be a way!"
"Well, when witches are defeated, they revert back and hibernate in a grief seed. they only rehatch when absorbed enough darkness or left alone fr a while..."
"then that gives time to find a way to save them

...Oh, Madoka.

[Homura said with a bittersweet smile - And then, she gave her a little hug before she could stop herself.]

- Never change, OK?

[Homura said, a small smile twitching on her lips ^ And then, she grabbed both Madoka and Kyosuke, and teleported out of the Witch Barrier in a flash of light!]

[Madoka and Kyosuke both blinked at each other as they found themselves in an empty hall filled with pamphlets, bags and half filled paper cups. Yes, this was the hall where the concert had just been taking place in, all right - Everything was still there, except for the people.]

...Alright, then - I don't know what would happen if and when the Witch Barrier goes down, so I want both of you to get out of the building ASAP, all right?

[Homura said briskly, and then turned toward Madoka, pointing a finger toward her.]

- That means you, Kaname Madoka. I'm not going to be able to help anybody if I have to keep on worrying about you, after all!

"I'll be fine Homura, don't worry! But yes, I'll leave" [Maodka quickly hugged homura] "Be careful!"
"I will. now go."
[Kyousuke bowed] "Thank you, akemi san. Take care of sayaka!" [he took Maodka's hand and ran to the exit] "Come on, Madoka san!"

[Meanwhile, shortly beofre miku going witch, Nagisa had gone outside to the bathroom, get more snacks, and take some medicine. It had taken some effort to convince Mami that She could head off on her own in this crowd. She loved having a big sister now that cared for her, but sheesh, she wasn't a baby exaclty anymore! and by the time she had come back, there was already a witch attack, and Nagisa had gotten lost in the witch labyrinth and seaparated from the tohers. No, she wasn't scared, she could do this!... right?

[Inside the Witch Barrier]

[Nagisa sighed, then, as she thought about her medicine. She didn't really need to take them anymore, right? Her magic made her feel much better then the medicines ever had, anyway.]

[But on the other hand, Mami had made it quite clear that they weren't suppose to talk about the Magical Girl stuff or magic in general for that matter with outsiders, and Nagisa was pretty sure that the doctors and nurses wouldn't believe her even if she did tell them about the magic, anyway.]

[...And then, Nagisa sighed. On one hand, she loved the notion of never needing any of the medicines again, but on the other hand, the thought of having none of the medicines at hand gave her a sinking feeling in her tummy. For years and years, they'd been pretty much the only things that could make her feel a little better, after all.]

[...But never mind that now, she had more important things to do, after all. First, she had to transform, and - ]

[And that was when their was an annoyed tapping, right behind her.]

- Hey, Kiddo - Would you make up ya bloody mind whether you're gonna transform or not? I'm sort of busy right now, and I don't really have any time to deal with a newbie having hysterics, if you get what I mean...

...Whaaat???

[Nagisa said, and quickly turned around. Where was that strangely familiar voice coming from, anyway? Nagisa quickly looked around the part of the corridor she was standing in, just to make sure nobody was looking at her, and then transformed with a sigh of relief.]

...I'm not a newbie, sheeesh!

[She said, and quickly jumped over some of unconcious people on the floor, trying not to step on them. She turned the corner, just to see a strangely familiar blonde Magical Girl looking at her with an utterly unimpressed expression, tapping her feet.]

- Of course you're a newbie, any Puella Magi who'd survived more then a couple of months would have transformed the moment they felt the Witch Barrier go up. But now that you're here -

[Rin said irritably - And then, her mouth dropped open.]

...Wait! You're...Nagisa-chan???

[Nagisa blinked at that] "Eh? You know me, oneesan?"
"Yes, we met when my brother and I preformed at the hospital" [Te blond young teenage girl replied]
"Ah!" [Nagisa recgonized her then] "Youre Rin Kagamine! I didn't know you were a magical girl!"
"Same here." [Rin frowned.] "You'e awfully young to be one though."
pNagisa pouted] "I'm not a baby, you know!"
"I know. It's just, always especially a shame, with young magical girls. Teenage is one thing, but..." [She sighed and shook her head]
[Nagisa tilted her head] "So, should we go get the witch?

[Inside the Witch Barrier.]

...Yeah, that's a good idea, but -

[Rin sighed.]

- There're so many Magical Girls in this place right now, it's making my head hurt.

[And then, she gave Nagisa a hard look.]

...I really don't wanna fight with you, or any of the others for that matter, about who gets the Grief Seed this time, all right?

[Not to mention that Len and their mother were still trapped in the damned Witch Barrier, sheesh. Rin sighed, then, and wondered which would be more cost effective - Should she fight Miku's Witch, or just concentrate on getting her brother and mother out?]

"That is all right, Mami nee chan says we can share grief seeds!" [Nagisa put on a determined look] "I have to find her!" [She ran inside ]
[Meanwhile Sayaka and Mami cught up and finally found the witch, sitting in her tv, watching the memories of some of the audience members she caught]
"End of the line, witch!"

...Well, sure, technically, it's possible to share Grief Seeds, but -

[Rin sighed, then, and shook her head as she saw the young Puella Magi run off. First things first, right?]

[She quickly ran back to where Len and their mother was. Len looked like he couldn't decide whether to scream at her or just faint, while their mother was out like a light.]

...Hey, Len - You can scream at me later, when we're all safe at home, OK?

[Rin said, and then, she began to use her magic, trying to tunnel their way out of the Witch Barrier.]

[She had to get her family out first, that was an absolute must, but then - Rin sighed, as she realized she really did feel that she had to see this fight through to the end, no matter how un cost effective it was. She couldn't really leave that little girl to fight it out without help, and - This was Miku's Witch's Barrier, afte rall.]

[And in the meanwhile - ]

[Elly looked around, and stared at Sayaka and Mami, looking annoyed.]

< Stop bothering me! >

[And then, she tilted her head, and started to summon two of her TV sets.]

< But on the other hand - Maybe interesting memories, yes? >

[Len kept frowning at Rin] "Are you really even my sister?"
"I said we'll deal with this later! Now come on, we have to catch up with that little girl!" [She grabbed Len's wrist and ran after Nagisa]

[The little angel doll twin familiars based off of Rin and Len giggled and swooped down and grabbed the magical girls.
Mami cried out and struggled, as her memories were dislayed don the tv monitors. There were flashes of her younger life, the day she made the contact as she layed dying in the car wreck that took her parents, her early syas as a magical girl, meeting Kyouko...

[Len pulled Rin back, then, groaned.]

...Rin, Rin, calm the hell down. How the heck to do expect me to run when I'm still carrying Mom, anyway!?

[And then, he looked at her, and sighed.]

- Maybe you are still Rin after all - Who else would be that idiotic?

[Rin looked at her brother and their unconsious mother he was carrying in his arms, and sweatdropped.]

...Ahh, right.

[And then, she looked around them, and sniffed. And then, she slowly turned toward one of the emergency exits that were glowing greenly in the direction the little Magical Girl had gone running off to.]

- That ones feels different from the others - OK, Len, follow me, and don't drop Mom, you get it?

[And then, she put her hand out, willed the outside world to appear on the other side of the emergency exit - And then, she just tore the door open, breaking the lock in the process.]

.....It worked!

[She said, poking her head out, and then quickly pushed Len and their mother out into the concert hall filled with empty bags and pamphelets.]

- And now, you two get out of this building, as quickly as you can. OK?

[Len stared at his sister - And then, he started as their mother began to groan.]

...But what about you?

[Rin laughed at that.]

.......Naaah, naah, a Magical Girl's job is never really done -

[And then, she turned back toward the inside of the Witch Barrier.]

- And I can't leave that little kid all alone, anyway. OK?

[And in the meanwhile, Sayaka had been grabbed by one of the flying Familiars, too.]

[A very young Madoka appeared in one of the TV sets, smiling at her.]

...Shayaka-chan! Let's become friends!

[Inside Elly's Witch Barrier]

But I don't wanna be friends with you!

[Little Sayaka pouted on the TV screen.]

I wanna be friends with Erika-chan! Erika-chan has the best birthday parties!

...Well, sure! But you can be friends with both me and Erika-chan, right?

[Little Madoka laughed. Sayaka laughed, then, and wiped her eyes.]

...I can't even remember what "Erika-chan" looked like anymore, Madoka.

[Sayaka said, and then, she took a deep breath and chopped the Familiars away from her, not seeming to care if she was cutting off pieces of her arm in the process.]

[And then, she rolled over to Mami, who was staring at the TV screen, tears rolling down her face. Little Mami was with her family, starting out on that ill fated car trip...]

...Come on, Mami-san, wake up, OK?

[And then, Sayaka turned around and called out - ]

- OK, everybody - We all fight this thing together, for once, and we share the Grief Seed too! Do you all get it!?

"I... Sayaka...?" [Mami blinked, unable to tear away from the scenes from her memory.]
[Sayaka cut the familairs away, but more kept coming] "Damn it! more!"
"Mami Nee chan!!" [Nagisa rushed in as much as fast as she could. The familaiars giggled and grabbed her. Visions of Nagisa's mother appeared on the screen. Then of her getting sick, then from Nagisa's view, darkness, then a mirror of her appearing faintly , but with unhuman, multicolored eyes...]
"Nasgisa!!" [Mami broke free upon seeing her adopted little sister in danger and fired at the familairs]
[Kirsten elly watched the memories in interest. Oh? A new sister was about to be born?]

[Mami, in the meanwhile, had managed to get close enough to Nagisa to grab her away from the Familiars holding her down.]

...Come on, Nagisa-chan, it's all right, it's all right...

[She said, and hugged her tight.]

[And that was when Rin arrived on the screen with a bang!]

- Ha ha ha - All right, everybody, you can all stop despairing now, the calavery is here!

[She said, a bloodthirsty grin on her lips, and raised her magical weapon, which happened to look like a mike of some kind for the moment. And then, she turned toward Nagisa with a slight sigh.]

...And now, I'd be going for some kind of group attack if I were you folks, but I'm not even sure you know how to do those, so...

[And then, she looked at Nagisa, and waved her hand, looking somewhat worried for a moment.]

- Hey, Kiddo! Are you all right down there?

( nagisa blinked and waved) " hello! Yes im all right, thanks to my big sister!"(she gave mami a hug)
( mami blinked at the new magical girl, but waved as well, happy to have more help here) " now come! Lets deal with this witch!"
( the damiliars dived towards rin and grabbed her. This time three sets of memories appeared on the screen, that of princess rilllianne. Rillianne who became rin, and rin kagamine. Kirsten elly watched these eagerly. Wow, these memories. Were certainly juicy! And so much delicious sorrow to feed upon!)

[Rin, in the meanwhile, was raising her magical dulcimer with her bloodthirsty grin.]

- OK, then, everybody - Listen to my song, and sing with me!

[Mami and Nagisa stared as light swirled around Rin, and her music started to swell.]

...What's happening? It's like the song itself is telling me to add my magical attacks to it?

[Nagisa whispered. Mami grinned, then, and made her ribbons billow in front of her.]

- Well, OK, then - I think we should do just that!

[Kyoko nodded, too, as she staggered up from behind some seats.]

...I never heard of a group attack song, but there's a first time for everything, I suppose...

[And then, Mami, Nagisa and Kyoko raised their voices in song, the magic flowing out of them. A large gun formed in front of Mami, while magical roses curled around Kyoko's spear for some reason. And large amount of shiny bubbles blew out of Nagisa's trumpet, while she clapped her hands...]

[Homura, in the meanwhile, just sighed from her perch in the rafters.]

...As you wish, then, Kagamine-san.

[And then, she opened her mouth, and began to sing too, as the magic flowed out of her.]

[And the streams of magic formed into streams of magical music, and flowed over to sayaka, who was weakly getting up from the familiar's last attacks. This music energy repleshineshed her and she glowed light blue. Sayaka smiled as she felt the music. Her sword transformed into a conductor's baton. She raised it, and began to compose and rearrange the magical music into a song. Then she opened her mouth, her own beautful voice flowing out in song, adding to the musical energy.
Kyouko blinked as she heard Sayaka sing. Sure she knew she nwas into this classical music schitick, but this. Her voice was amazing and tantalizing! And her conductor's movement was as graceful as the water element she represented] "Sayaka... wow..."
[Rin blinked, a twinge of irritation and jealousy at this. Past memories, as the old Rillianne seething in annoyance and jealousy at the attention Lady Oktavia Von Sekendorff's musical genius received. Showing her up like that! And hah, how the people were all disguested at Oktavia once her true fishy appearence was revealed! That's right, she was a mermaid... would she still be a mermaid in this reincarnated life? signs pointed to it

[And then, Rin shook her head, annoyed at herself.]

...Behave, Rillanne...

[She growled under her breath, and then took a step back, focusing herself. So many reincarnations seemed to be running around this place nowadays, ha ha ha - And what really was weird was that she seemed to be getting even more flashbacks from Rillanne the Queen then Rillanne the Magical Girl and Folk Singer. What in the world had happened, anyway? Had the Queen Rillanen part come back as a package deal when she reincarnated as Kagamine Rin?]

[But never mind that now - She had something more important to do, after all.]

[Miku - Or what was left of her soul, anyway - was waiting for them to set her free.]

- Carry on, Senderkoff!

[Rin said, and added her song again to the whole, wrapping the whole thing up with gossamer strings of music. She could figure out some way of making the bluehead pay for one upping her later, maybe, she thought with grin, but then, her smile became sad again, as she turned her attention to the stage.]

[Kirsten Elly, in the meanwhile, was turning toward the performance, grimancing.]

[Some people were so unconsiderate! What did they think they were doing, distracting her from her TV screens with such beautiful music?]

[Sayaka was too focused on the music to notice the frisson between her and this new Rin. She gathered up the magical music energy coming from Rin and added it to the power ensemble. It was almost ready to fire.]

[Kirsten Elly huffed as there was a faint crackle on one of the screen, with her own memories, like a badly tuned channel. though the fuzzy screen and white noise, there were glimpses of a girl just like her but with teal hair instead of black and happy looking, indulging in her musical love and talent. It was mostly pop instead of the folk and classical that was emitting from the magical girls, but still...that girl was for music and sharing it with the world... but that girl was gone now. Only sulking in her own little world, watching recordings of other peoples dreams and memories that she collected and kept. Content, but miserable that she could never join the world again...
So the others shouldn't either. her witch symbol mark appeared on any remaining humans in her barrier. putting them in a trance, only thinking of their misery and they should end their lives in this world...

...Well and damn...

[Rin groaned, feeling very relieved that she'd gotten her brother and mother out of the Witch Barrier beforehand.]

[And then, she blinked. A soft, thin voice was singing along with them, her tones blending seamlessly into their chorus.]

[Kirsten Elly turned around, looking annoyed, then. The green haired girl inside her was singing? Why now? It was much too late for whatever life the green haired girl had wanted, Kirsten Elly had been born already!]

< You made me, Egg Me! Why are you trying to interefere now!? >

(...Sorry, kid. I didn't really know what I was doing, all right?)

[Miku sighed.]

(...And nobody deserves to be a miserable as we are now, I think - Even us.)

< - Kirsten Elly is not miserable! >

[The Witch cried out, while Miku shook her head.]

(......You have no idea what being really happy and content is, Elly - )

[Miku said, and gave her a hug inside the mindspace, and looked into her eyes.]

(- I'll try to do better next time, if there ever is a next time, OK?)

[And then, the combined attack hit both of them.]

[The Magical Girls all watched the stage as their combined attack twirled around the Witch, making her go up in sparkles.]

...Heh. Even your Witch is pretty when she goes, Miku...

[Rin murmured with a smile on her lips - And then, she went and grabbed at Elly's Grief Seed before any of the other Magical Girls even had time to react to what she was doing.]

[Rin stuck the Grief Seed to her Soul Gem with a sigh, and then blinked. The Grief Seed was only drawing out about half of the dark energies her Soul Gem had accumulated, with the rest seeming to sink back into the Gem, twirling.]

...Haah?

[Rin mumbled, but then she sighed - She didn't feel bad or anything for the moment, and it wasn't like she had to time to worry about this right now, so...]

[Nagisa almost squeaked, then, as the blond girl suddenly jumped up to her.]

...Hey, Kiddo!

[Nagisa stared at her, and then almost squeaked as Rin suddenly stuck the Grief Seed to her Soul Gem.]

- Eeeeeeee!?

[And then, she sighed as the dark energies were drained away.]

...Ermm. Thanks, Onee-san - I think?

"Sure thing kid, you need it more than I do." Rin shrugged casually at that. The labyrinth wavered back to the real world at the concert hall and the people were starting to awaken]
"Thank you for you help in battling the witch.] Mami bowed gratefully, recognizing her as an experienced magical girl[ "May I ask who you are?"
"Name's Rin Kagamine."
[Sayaka was still taken aback by everything, and though she has met Rin before, she time she had an off feeling about her. A deja vu, and not a good one, and this rin seemedd difefrent then the one she met before. Was it because she was a magical girl now? but even perosnality and some aura felt difefrent...]
"Can't talk now Tomoe, I need to make sure my family is safe. But we'll meet again." [Rin ran off to find Len and their mother

[Kyoko, however, wasn't ready to let Rin just run off.]

- Hey, hey, hey, Kagamine, wait up a minute there -

[She said, and jumped in the air, running after Rin, and cutting her off. She held spear up, trying to show the other girl she meant business.]

- We need that Grief Seed too, all right!? It wasn't like you went and got that Witch all by yourself, after all!

[Well, crap. Rin looked around all the other Magical Girls, and shook her head - No, no, she didn't have the time nor energy to fight all of them, no matter what the Rillanne part of her was nattering on about.]

...Sure, whatever - I'll let you peeps use it once each, then, as long as you do it quickly. Like within the next five minutes.

[She quickly went to a part of the backstage that seemed to be being used as a store room of some kind, motioning them to follow her.]

[And then, she looked at the Grief Seed, her eyes hooded.]

- You'd better not try to take this Grief Seed from me, though - This one's mine. All mine.

[And then, Rin murmured some words beneath her breath, tears in her eyes.]

...Fuck it, Miku, I...I...

[Sayaka looked like she wanted to say something, but Mami cut her off right off the bat.]

- That sounds like a very reasonable way to do things, Kagamine-san. Thank you.

[And then, she smiled up at Kyoko.]

...You first, Kyoko!

[Kyoko quickly went up to Rin, then, and stuck her Soul Gem to the Grief Seed she was holding up. She sighed in relief as the dark energies drained away. Mami went up to Rin next, and stuck her Gem to the Seed.]

- Let's talk later, Kagamine-san.

...Yeah, but not now, geez.

[Rin muttered, and then turned toward Sayaka as Mami put her Gem away.]

- Hurry up, Seckendorff, I have no time for this!

[Sayaka stared at Rin, and then stuck her Soul Gem to the Grief Seed Rin was holding out with a groan.]

...Seckendor - what?

[And then, she muttered under her breath.]

- And why in the world are you so annoying, anyway?

[Mami, in the meanwhile, was looking around them. Had Homura Akemi just disappeared when the battle was over? Hmmm...]
