[Mami was nodding along, listening to what Miku was telling her - And that is when she caught sight of Hanako's father tumbling out of the minivan.]
- Sorry, Hatsune-san, please wait a sec -
[She said, and ran up to Nagisa just as Minagishi-san was starting to rant in earnest.]
...Come here, Nagisa-chan!
[She said, and then leaned down to Nagisa as she pulled her away and whispered - ]
- Just let him be, he'll probably forget about it if you're not right in front of him, I think...
[And then, she smiled.]
- And anyway, there's somebody I want to introduce you to!
[Nagisa wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, and nodded.]
...OK, Mami Onee-san...
[Mami gave her an handkerchief, and waited until Nagisa wiped her eyes properly. And then, she went and introduced her to Miku.]
...Hatsune-san, this is Momoe Nagisa-san.
[She said. Miku gave Nagisa a little bow with a smile.]
...It's good to meet you, Momoe-san!
[She said, and then turned back to Nagisa.]
- Nagisa-chan, meet Hatsune Miku-san!
[And then she whispered - ]

[Nagisa's eyes widened at that.]

[And in the meanwhile, Hanako's brother had run up to his father, swearing beneath his breath.]
[And then, he sighed, and leaned down to his father next to the worried looking nurse, and tried to speak gently.]
