[They all manage to get out of the Witch Barrier with no problems, however.]

[Lelouch puts Binx down on the floor, and then takes out his Phone.]

[The older Nunnally detransforms and flops on one of the sofas, looking very upset indeed.]

...Damn it, damn it, damn it...

[She mutters, and starts to bite her nails, only to groan and stop - That isn't very ladylike, after all.]

[Lelouch, in the meanwhile, has started to talk on his Phone without even bothering to detransform.]

...Yes, it's me, and I'm going to need lots of the stuff, I'm afraid...Yes, I know we have no idea if it's going to work. You will?

[And then he breathed a deep sigh of relief.]

- Thank you.

[And then he teleported away with no explanation whatsoever, only to reappear in the living room five minutes later.]

...All right, everybody -

[He says, holding out what looks like a canteen.]

- This is something I sometimes use to melt down Grief Seeds, when I can. It doesn't seem to exist back in my homeworld, sadly enough, but...

[And then he sighs a bit.]

The Witches don't like it - It seems to burn them, or something - but I've heard of several cases where the Witches actually reverted to being Puella Magi when a large amount of this stuff was dumped on them, so I think it's worth trying, at least.

[And then he opens it, showing that it's filled with a silver milky liquid of some kind.]

...So will you help me, Nunnally?

[Nunnally looks at him, and laughs, getting off the sofa, looking much less upset then she was just a couple of minutes ago.]

- Of course, Brother!

[He then looks at Binx, thinking. Going inside the Witch Barrier the second time would probably be even more dangerous then the first time around, but...]

- What about you, Binx? It's all right if you don't want to come with us again, but - I will appreciate your help, I must admit.

Well, I've seen what happens the first time we went in, so...

....count me in.

...Thank you, Binx. I mean it.

[Lelouch puts Binx on his shoulder, again, making a kitty version of the Zero mantle and mask for around him, like he did the last time.]

[The older Nunnally, in the meanwhile, has put out a hand toward Leloch and Binx.]

- Hey, everybody, let's do the touch fists thing before we go!

[And Lelouch does so, with a grin.]

- To victory!

[And then, Lelouch and Nunnally both hold out their fists toward Binx, too, so he can touch them with his paw - It's not like his paws can actually make a fist, after all.]

...You too, Binx!

[Nunnally laughs...]

**Thackery kneads the air with his paws, and reaches out with one, trying his best to reach their fists**

[Aand Lelouch and Nunnally both reach down, and touch their fists to his paw.]

[Touch touch!]

[And then, Lelouch puts Binx on his shoulders, and makes the cat version of the Zero outfit materialize over him again, while Nunnally stands up and transforms into her Puella Magi self.]

[And now it's time for everybody to head into the Witch Barrier, again!]

...Here we go, everybody!

[Lelouch whispers from inside his helmut, as they step inside the Witch Barrier. It's strangely empty inside, this time around, it seems - Even the squirrel things seem to be absent.]

[And now, there are no less then three doors that look just like the door that led to the younger Nunnally the last time they came here, right in front of them!]

[Lelouch looks at it, and then turns toward Binx, his eyes hooded.]

...Can you feel anything, Binx?

[He whispers...]

N...no....not at the moment...

[Lelouch nods at that, takes a deep breath, and opens the door to the right.]

[The room on the other side seems to be identical to the room the younger Nunnally was in, but instead of the younger Nunnally, there is a small plushie on the bed which looks just like her.]

...Is that her, Binx? Or something else entirely?

[Lelouch whispers.]

[If Binx looks at the plushie, it might look strange, like it was slipping in and out of focus - And it also smells of herb cookies and tea, strangely enough.]

**Thackery jumps down to the ground...oofh, miscalculated...whoops...and pads over to the plushie. He raises a paw at it, preparing to whack it, when it slips out of focus again**

You....saw that...right?

...Yes, yes I did...

[Lelouch steps into the room, and takes something that looks like a big blue piece of cloth out of his pocket. He slowly covers the plushie with it, and then flips it over so he doesn't touch it directly, even with his gloves, and ties it into a neat bundle.]

[He then ties a corner of the bundle to his armor, and turns toward the door.]

- Alright, then - Time to try the next room, now...

[The next door leads to a empty room, too, except for a nightrobe covered skeleton, roughly his sister's size. Lelouch stares at it for a bit, and then closes the door, looking rather upset under his helmet.]

[The third and last door leads to what seems to be the same room they entered the last time they entered the Witch Barrier.]

[Young Nunnally turns her face in their direction, smiling.]

- Brother! Mister Cat! You're back again!

[And then she held something up.]

Look what those dear squirrels brought me - A new toy!

[What she's holding up is a plushie, and it looks just like the older Nunnally in her Puella Magi form.]

[Lelouch spins around, as he realizes that the older Nunnally is nowhere in sight - And they can't seem to hear her fighting with her energy arrows, either.]

...Damn it!

[Binx may be able to sense that the plushie the Younger Nunnally is holding is not, in fact, any cursed or transformed form of the older Nunnally. It smells like one of the squirrel things, actually - Even though it's been covered up with cookies and tea to try making it smell like something else.]

**The cat's fur starts to stand up, under the Lelouch outfit, as he smells the scent of the squirrel things, causing him to hiss slightly**

[And that is when three strange shadowy shapes seem to appear in the room, and the scent of cookies and tea grow even stronger. The Young Nunnally with the plushie in her hand, however, doesn't seem to think anything is strange at all.]

...Miss Winnie, Miss Mary, Miss Sarah!

[She laughs.]

- See, see? My brother did come for me, after all!

No, no, no no no no NO!

**Thackery backs up behind Lelouch, hissing under his helm**

[Lelouch hisses something under his mask, and points his magical gun toward the shadowy figures - He can't quite bring himself to point it at any version of his sister, yet, however.]

[Especially when all his gut instincts are telling him that the girl in front of him is actually some version of his sister, and not just some kind of shapeshifter or illusion-user.]

...Who are they, Binx?

[He hisses, as the shadowy figures chuckle and laugh, still smelling of tea and cakes, oddly enough.]

[The little plushie in Young Nunnally's hand, however, is shifting slightly - It now looks more like a squirrel thing in a little doll dress then a plushie version of the Puella Magi ! Older ! Nunnally.]

[And Lelouch notices this, but does not really feel all that better about things, since the older version of his sister is still nowhere in sight.]

[And so he grits his teeth, and whispers toward Binx - ]

- Tell me. Please.

They're the spirits of the three witches that killed me when I was a human!

"Oh, come now, Thackery! Is that any way to treat a friend?"

Friend?! You murdered me!

...You were a human!?!?!

[Lelouch mumbles for a moment, but then, turns his attention back to Young Nunnally and the dark shadows.]

...What kind of witches were they?

[They don't feel any stronger then the average Familiar, Lelouch thinks - But on the other hand, he has no idea how much he can trust his power sensing abilities at the moment. The squirrel things seemed to be pretty good at hiding themselves, after all - And so was the Younger Nunnally.]

They tricked children to come to their home so they could suck the lives out of the victims so they could stay young forever!

"And we'd do it again, if you hadn't meddled!"

You killed my sister...and cursed me to be a black cat for the rest of eternity, until Max set my soul free!

[Lelouch sighed a bit at that.]

[They probably weren't as powerful as the kind of Witches he usually fought, but they sounded quite nasty enough, he thinks.]

[And then one of the Shadows turned toward Binx, tittering.]

...But you know, Thackery Binx? We weren't always like this - Why, we used to be pretty ordinary people, actually!

[And another one leaned toward him, grinning.]

- Oh, yes - Sure, we sold love spells and curses and told fortunes and all that stuff, but it was almost all stuff we just made up on the fly, you know? People would buy anything if they're desperate enough, really...

[And then the third one twirled around a bit.]

...But one day - One day, we woke up, and the dark magic was flowing all around us - And oh! How happy we were!

- We could get back at them, now, get back at all those stupid townspeople who kept saying nasty things about us even though they came running to us when they wanted a love spell or a curse or some potions...

[And then all three of them started to laugh, eerily. Young Nunnally laughed, too, clapping her hands a bit.]

- See, Miss Winnie, Miss Mary, Miss Sarah? Sometimes, there really are happy endings to some stories, after all!

**Thackery hisses, swiping at the Shadows, as he slinks behind Lelouch**

[And Lelouch points his magical gun at the Shadows, and starts to shoot!]

[The shadows don't like it, and retreat to the other side of the room, muttering to themselves.]

- What a rude boy, shooting at us like this...

...But what else could we expect from a friend of Thackery Binx, anyway?

[And in the meanwhile...]

[The little packet in which Lelouch had wrapped up the little doll they got in the first room has started to wriggle.]

...Somebody...Get me out of here...

[And yes, it does sound like the Older Nunnally they came here with. Binx may also be able to tell that it's vibes match the older version, too.]

**Thackery hisses at the three shadows, from behind Lelouch's legs, when his ears start to swivel about, listening to the tiny packet**
