[And then, he played with the pendant for a couple of minutes, until Madoka took the pendant back, and put it in her pocket again.]

[She said, patting the pendant with her fingers. Homura inwardly grinned at that, and almost cheered when she quickly managed to turn into a lizard again. Being a pretty pendant wasn't exactly horrible, but she hadn't wanted to become stuck as a magical inanimate object, after all...]
[That night, after they'd gotten home, Madoka and Lizard Homura talked things over, and decided not to tell Sayaka about any of the new developments until after she'd at least tried to do the "love confession thing", as Madoka had put it. Madoka had been quite surprised that Sayaka had actually managed to psych herself into doing the deed, to be honest, and she didn't want to do anything that could interfere with something that was obviously really important to Sayaka herself.]
