[the next day, Mami never arrived. Nagisa was feeling frustrated, and went out on a witch hunt on her own, even though she was feeling weaker that day from her sadness about her mother's condition. But, she was still a magical girl, she still had to defend the city...)

[Nagisa walked through the streets, scowling. She could feel at least 3 Witches in the area, but whenever she tried to locate their exact whereabouts, she ended up going in circles. Darn - This was more difficult then she'd thought.]

[Maybe she should go back to the hospital, and wait for Mami-Oneesan to come home after all.]

[And that was when she felt a trickle of power, and blinked. That didn't feel like a Witch...]

- Ohhh! There must be a different Magical Girl near by!

[She turned around, and started to follow the strange trickle of power. How odd - The energy actually smelled like caramel cake, for some strange reason...]

[And in the meanwhile...]

[Rin was sitting on a bench in the hospital gardens, grimancing.]

[What in the world was going on, anyway? That had to be about the 3rd or 4th time she'd just collapsed like that, in less then a month! No wonder the doctors wanted her to stay in the hospital for a checkup.]

[She'd thought things would return to normal once Mother came back, but apparently not. Their normally level-headed mother had come running back from her trip totally and utterly spooked.]

...So what if I look like the Princess of Evil, and Len looks like her Royal Servant? I had no idea Mama of all people was that - that superstious!

[Rin grumbled, twirling her hair around her fingers, and tried hard not the think about the weird dream she'd had right after her mother had started to talk about the Evil Princess and what she'd found in Europe. Why would she dream of giving birth in a cave of all places, anyway? Ewww!]

[Rin had no idea that magical energies were starting to leak out of her, and pool around her feet...]

Nagisa followed the trailof magical energy out to the garden out to the petite blond girl. She could see the streams of energy around her and frowned. What was this? It didnt feel likke a normal magical girl'smagi. It didn't really feel like a witche's either. Well, surely there were all sorts of magics in the world, and this girl had some! curious, Nagisa decided to approach her and amilw "Hello Onee-san! What are you doing? Are you ok?"
