[The post for Kyubey, Rin and Len!]

[flashback]

a frail blind girl, her face blank with sadness, drifts by the shore, singingin. She was once a proud, tyranical princess, but things suddenly went horribly wrong an revolution arose. She was here left, as her loyal servant, her identical twin brother, chose to disguise himself and take her place at the execution, allowing her to escape. Her beloved brother, the only one who truly liked her, how could she take advantage of him like that and not consider his feelings? And now, he was gone. In fact, regretted all the horrible things she had done. She had tken up refuge at a church nearby, no one knowing her tre identity, but she was already hollow.
now a idea came to her, a game her brother once showed her. By writing a wish into a bottle and tossing it to see at a certain moment, the wish would come true, so that was what she was now doing.
"..I wish, that we could be revbirn together as twins again oneday, that we could have another chance..." She fell to her knees , wave drifteing against her waist, and she sobbed "Im sorry!! I am so sorry! Lenny!!"

[And that was when there was a cough behind her.]

...Hello, Miss!

[A very strange but cute critter is looking at her, it's head tilted a bit...]

[Oooooh - So much potential!]

"D-did you just speak?"

[He smiled up at her, thinking.]

I'm called Kyubey, and I've been watching you for a bit...

[He then looked at the bottles bobbing in the water, and pasted a fake sad expression on his face.]

You must have lost somebody important to you, right?

Oh, Miss - Why would you think it's all your fault?

[Kyubey smiles up at her, ozzing fake sympathy.]

Bad things happen all the time, but it's not any one person's fault, most of the time, I don't think...

[ And around 200 years later...
the young blond girl wakes up from her dream, sitting up in her bed with a gasp.]
"huh. One of those dreams again..." [for some reason those dremas had an esecially real feel to them, and deep sadness... but whatever, they were just dreams.

Her twin brother wakes up in the bed across the room, He could feel his iter's dream too, but not as strongly at the moemnt.]
"Morning Rin..."

"Hm.. morning Len!" Her mood goes cheerful and she ugs him "Lets get breakfast!"
"Ok! Im hungry!"

[And then, Len grinned.]

So am I, but - I think you must have forgotten something important, sister mine!

[He then grins at her, and gives her a theaterical bow, with a florish!]

- Happy Birthday, Rin!

[Yes, it's their 14th birthday, today!]

[She squeals happily. How could she almost forget!]
"Thanks Len! Happy birthday~~" She curtsies. Then the two laugh and hug "And we'll hav our birthday party!
"And it will be awesome!"
[they run downstairs for breakafast[

[And someplace else in the city the twins live in...]

[A white, cute critter looks around, it's scarlet eyes impassive.]

- This is odd. I feel something, but I'm not sure what it is at all.

[The green haired girl standing besides him laughed, clapping her hands.]

...Ha ha ha - Kyubey-chan, you looked so puzzled, just now!

[Kyubey blinked slowly.]

- I did?

[She giggles and picks him up, hugging tightly] "That's ok! It's just so cute!!" [ooh, he was so soft and fluffy!] "anyways, I think I got the witches in the area for now. Then I got a quick rehearsal, meeting with the manager, then to meet up with everyone!"
[Balancing the life of a teenageer girl, a magical girll, and an up and coming idol kept her busy!

[and the nxt things len knew, Rin was on top of him, shaking him]
"leny!! Wake up Lenny!"
[he groaned and shifted, his conciousness slowly going from whatevr dreream there was to realuty]
"get up you dumb sleepyhead! Mom is on the phone!!"

[Len whimpered on his bed - And then he shuddered as he heard his sister's voice.]

...Nno...Milady...Don't...

[And Rin felt a cold shudder go down her back when she heard her brother say that, though she had no idea why.]

.......Stop...Stop talking nonsense in your sleep and wake up, will ya!!

[And that was when their mother coughed on the other side of the phone.]

...Rin-chan? What happened? Is something wrong with Len?

Rin shook off the nervus feeling"I think he's having a nightmare or something. Hold on." With that, she put the phone down on the dresser, and with a heave she soved len off of his bed and pounced on him "WAKE UP!!

[And Len woke up with a shudder!]

...Rin! Would you cut it out!?

[He groaned, wondering why the familiar sight of his twin sister was making his skin crawl for some reason - And then he blinked as he realized what his sister was saying.]

[Wait, his mother actually was on the phone!?!?]

[He grabbed the phone from Rin, nearly dropping it in his haste.]

...M-Mom! It's really you!?

[His mother blinked again on the other side of the phone.]

...Len-kun...What happened?

[And then her eyes narrowed.]

- Don't try to say nothing did, or everything is OK, Len - I'm your mother, and you don't sound like everything is fine at all!

"I just had a bad nightmare..."
Rin put a hand on his forehead "sounded like it. And you might be feveriish. Maybe youre coming down with something."
"Yeah..maybe...."
"Anything else?" their mother demanded, but her worry obvious
"well, there was a riot at the concert last night...

...K - Kyubey is a meanie!

[Nagisa said, as the tears started to fall from her eyes. She wiped them with her pretty costume's sleeve, sniffling.]

- He shoulda - He should have told us first, that we were makin' the wrong Wish!

[Mami bit her lip at that, remembering what Kyubey had told her before. Kyubey wasn't allowed to make suggestions about what Wishes to make, he's said, though he'd refused point blank to explain just why...]

[Kyubey, now pacing through the corridors himself, sighed as he heard that. Yes, yes, it was true that Incubator's weren't allowed to make any suggestions about which Wishes their Contractees should make or not make, as a general rule, but sometimes, despite and still...]

[And then he shook himself, irritably. That way lay madness - Remember what happened to Versions Seven and Eight, self? Those rules had been put in place for a reason, after all!]

[Mami sighed again] "Well I once heard Kyubey said that it was against the rules for him to suggest wishes. I suppose that includes his opinions on the wishes." she shook her head "but, he can remind you of the limits...

[Nagisa said, wiping her eyes - And that was when an idea struck her.]

- But wait! What if I...

[She quickly ran down the corridors, while Mami stared after her, bemused.]

...Kyubey! Kyubey, please come out - There's something I have to ask you to do!

[Kyubey sighed, then, and shifted his perception field's setting a little, so she could see him.]

- Here I am, Nagisa - What is it?

[Oh, he could tell already that she was going to ask him to do something truly inconvienient, even before she opened her mouth, buuut.]

[Nagisa took a deep breath, then, and opened her mouth.]

- Oh, Kyubey - Could you make a Contract with my Mama, too? Then she wouldn't have to worry about getting sick anymore, and we could even fight the Witches together!

[Kyubey groaned inwardly. Oh, great, it was one of those requests.]

...Nagisa, please. Not everybody can become a Magical Girl, you know?

[This was technically true, as he had met some humans who just seemed to be totally Un-Contractable by any means, for whatever reasons, though they were few and far in between - And a male Contractee would not become a Magical Girl, in any case.]

[But on the other hand, the girl's mother did seem to have a fair amount of potential, even in her current sickly state, and it might be interesting to see what the dynamics would be with a mother and daughter Magical Girl - Magical Woman? - Duo.]

[Hmmmm. He would have to think about this, wouldn't he.]

[And so he smiled up at her and said - ]

- I'll go and take another look at her, since you asked - But please don't get your hopes up, OK?

[Mami frowned a bit at that] "but Kyubey, would that be possible? I mean, wouldit count, even if she is not a girl really anymore?"
"True normally magical girls are around your and Nagisa's age group and it is prefered. But sometimes there are times in which an older girl or grown woman could be contracted as well. Why just a few years ago a schoolteacher was conteacted!" [It has been a long while since he has seen her in action though. if it werent for the fact she was Madoka Kaname's homreoom teacher he may have forgotten about her.

[Nagisa looked at him, and blinked.]

...But wait! What about boys? Aren't there any Magical Boys? At all?

[Even the Beautiful Moonstar Series had the Starlight Knight, even if he wasn't really a Magical Girl, Nagisa thought. It was a pity - The Knight was one of her favorite characters, after all, even if Mami had repeatedly told her that being a real Magical Girl wasn't much like the stuff in mangas or animes.]

[Kyubey nodded at that.]

- Oh, that? There have been some males who have been deemed worthy of being offered a Contract, actually, here and there - But it doesn't happen very often, I must admit. Girls your age are much more suited for this kind of thing, you see...

[And then he nodded, and turned away, wondering just why he had a niggling - something - about this particular problem.]

[Oh, come on, he was an Incubator, not a human - He wasn't supposed to have "bad feelings" about anything, thwack it!]

...But for now, please go find that Witch, OK? I'll try to see what I can do about your mother, in the meanwhile...

[And so he watched the two Magical Girls go down the corridors, and sighed. OK, then...]

[And several minutes later...]

[Kyubey staring at a woman in a hospital bed, thinking. Nagisa's mother was vaguly familiar, now that he thought about it - She'd been a friend of one of his Contractees, and he'd considered recruiting her too, once. But then, the girl in question had gone Witch much earlier then he'd thought she would, and...]

[No, wait - Oh, yes, he really did remember her, now. The inconvienient little thing had actually gone Witch right in the middle of her classroom, during class. And the woman in front of him had been -]

[- One of the very few survivors of that incident.]

[Uh, oh. Oh, yes, he really did have a bad feeling about this, now, never mind that he wasn't supposed to have feelings in the first place, ha ha ha -]

[Kyubey went out of the room Momoe Naoko was in, and started to think.]

[He was still thinking when Nagisa and Mami came back.]

...We couldn't find any Witches, or Familiars either, for that matter...

[Nagisa grumped, and then her face lighted up when she caught sight of Kyubey under the sofa.]

- Kyubey! Did you see Mama? How did the Contract go?

[Kyubey came out from under the sofa then, and looked up at her.]

...I am sorry, Nagisa, but your mother is not a good Puella Magi candidate, I am afraid - I do not think making a Contract with her is a good idea at all!

[And that wasn't a lie at all, really. ]

- I've made Contracts with people who weren't good matches before, you see, and some of them just died the very next day after they became Magi, just like that!

[That wasn't a lie, either. Of course, it was another matter entirely if Momoe Naoko would turn out like that, if she ever made a Contract with any Incubator, buuut.]

[And so, he looked up at her, and pasted on his "slightly apologetic" expression.]

...You don't want your mother to die even earlier then she might have because she made a Contract, right? That would sort of defeat the purpose entirely, from your point of view, I think...
