When they were inside me, I was strong enough to climb through mirror images like this, but...
It still wasn't worth it, in the end.
[And then she looks at him again.]
They're sort of like parasites, you know? They give you extra power, but you get more and more addicted to the dark powers the more they tamper with you...
[And then she snorted.]
And they're really sort of stupid - They turn themselves into copies of us because they wouldn't be able to really think otherwise, I think. And even when they do that, they're just borrowing their hosts brainpower, so.
And they're good at telling you about yourself, since they can see into you, but as for original thinking - They don't do that worth a damn.
"yes.. I do suppose..." [Cat yawned] "Not that it matters. I am the next Chrestomanci and am plenty powerful enough..Not that I need anymore..." [ and not that he would be foolish enough to accept them. But what if they were already in his mind..?]
[And meanwhile, Gwendolen was sitting in her old-new room back home, with her parents. Caroline and Francies were wary of moving back to the house that were so near the street where the shady characters who helped corrupt their daughter. Chrestomanci had offered to get them a new place, but they refused, preferring to earn it on their own. And Gwendolen was finally going off to finishing school soon, the sister school of the one Garrin went to. They were right next door to each other in fact. Her things were already paced, and Gwendolen sat by her miurror in her nightgown as her mother brushed her hair] "Are you nervous about tomorrow, gwendolen dear?" "Yes. I do suppose I am." "It will be fine. Garrin will be nearby after all." "Yes. And hoepfully I shall get my magic back soon..."
[And then, there was a chuckle. Gwendolen looked around her - Ugh, it must be them again.]
(Are you sure you don't want our help, dearest Gwennie?)
[One of the red eyed images asked inside her mind.]
(We could help you with so many things! Why, we could deal with that pesky magical block of yours in no time, if you'd let us - Especially since your magical batteries seem to have mostly been charged up again...)
[And Neffy blinked, feeling a cold feeling come over her.]
...Hey, Mr Cat...
[She said to Eric.]
Is there anybody else besides you that they've managed to get into, where you live?
I'm feeling their vibes from thataway, for some reason...
[And she points through the mirror toward the corridors.]
[And then she took a good look at Eric, thinking.]
You've really got a lot of magic, Mr Cat. I wonder - Could you help me go to your place?
I know the spells, but I don't have enough power at all like this...
[Gwendolen cries out in sudden frustration and grabs her head] "Oh not you again! Stop bothering me! i do not need you anymore!" "Gwennie? What is it sweetie! What's wrong!" "Those voices! Those shadows that have been bothering me! They have returned~" "Oh no.. I feared as much.." [Her mother grabbed her shoulders firmly] "Now listen to me, you lot! If you are possesing her! You leave me daughter alone now! She has had enough problems caused by you! I won't let you haunt her anymore!" [some of her own lighter colored magic brimmed up]
"They have? Not that I know of.. It would be bad if they have..I should tell someone." [he drudged himself out of his sheets and looked at her] "You wnat me to bring you right here you mean? All right. I shall try, I suppose" [so he focused on making a door she could enter through their conenction]
"Oh Gwenny" Her mother held her tightly] "Just what were those thigs?" "Oh I don't know! But they have bothering me for a while now. Ever sincce, soon after that mess with chrestomanci first started." [she made a face] "What if he was the one who caused it. as if he did not give me enough trouble aready.." "Actually I asked him already about that, and even he does not know really what it is." "Tch. Even something the high and mighty chrestomanci cannot do! Even if he could, I don't think he would try to help me with it. Not that I want his help anymore.." [gwnedolen made a face[ "Now now Gwenny, we'll figure this out." [mrs chant looked pesive] Perhaps, I know some people who might be able to help drive them away form you for good... been so long since we have seen eachother though..."
"Ok." little nehelnia patiently sat by the window alcove] "es, we have a lot to talk about I suppose" "That we do." len replied as he went into the bathroom and started his bath. he still felt a bit woozy.
[Little Nehelenia looked around her, thinking. Was there anything she could use as an anchor -]
[And then she sighed. That strange boy that called himself "Cat" for whatever reason had more then enough magical energy, all by himself. She wouldn't need an anchor for this kind of thing in the first place, probably.]
[And so she put a hand in her pocket, and came up with two matching wooden rings.]
[Cat took a bath and came out of the bathroom, dressed in a bathrobe and drying his hair.]
...Sorry.
[He said, now that he was feeling better.]
Should I get you some tea or some scones or something?
I'd love that, but not right now, please.
[Neffy smiled, and gave him one of the wooden rings.]
It's a linking ring - If you have this, you can contact me easily, and we can also Gate to each other much easier then usual if we have the energy for it. You'll be supplying most of the energies in tha case, though, I'm afraid...
[Cat took one of the wooden rings, and tried it on. It felt slightly warm, he thought.]
...It feels warm. Sort of nice, too.
[And in the meanwhile...]
[Gwendolen took a deep breath.]
[So this was the finishing school she was going to go to for the next two years or so. It was a very pretty place, she did have to admit...]
"Well, here we are, Gwennie." [Mrs Chant says, a hand on her shoulder reassuringly] "It is going to be all right... shall we go in?" [Gwendolen nodded, looking around at all the girls heading in for the new season. She refured to admit that she was nervous about this. After the tour around the campus and finishing up registrations, Gwendolen was taken to her new bedroom suite.] "this is where you shall be staying this season, along with your room mates. There can be up to 6 girls together in a suite, two beds in one room, a sitting room and a bathroom. Some of the girls are already here."[It was a charming setting, quite decent sized and comfortable looking.] "Ms Gwneodlen chant, this is your room mate, Miss camille Haddison. And over there is Miss Theodora Kasane." [The other was a girl with large red curls in pigtails, who seemed to be staring intently at aa squirrel outside the window, The sight of who her roomate was sent Gwnedolen near livid with rage again. Why of everyone it had to be Michelle! Or at leats another version of her. This girl had black hair instead of that garish turquoise, but it was definitely her. Camille looked surprised, then smiled] "Oh, It's you! It really you, right? Garrin's twin sister! You arre finally here! Oh, I am so happy to finally meet you!" [Camille hugged her, which Gwendolen did not accept]
"Oh, so her name is michelle then? Could you tell me about her, besides you say she is annoying? And no, not really. I do not go like tthat to everyone, that would be silly! Besides, I alreayd have someone I am going to marry!" [Camille was oblivious to Gwendolen's irritation. gwendolen was trying ti figure out how she could inqure about Kyle in this world. Clearly he proabbly would not have blue hair, and his name might not be the same. but surely he ocud still be a prince, right? even the other one had completely jilted her, now she could have a chance here! unleess that Camille girl interfered! No, she would not let that happen!] "Anyway, I am glad we were brought together like this! and I forguve you for that silly curse you put on me a few years ago. Let bygines be bygones!" [Camille took Gwneodlen's hands, her eyes shinign earestly] "I can tlel we are going to be the best of friends!"
[Gwendolen stared at her, and wrenched her hand away.]
But what if I don't want bygones to be bygones? Humph!
[Camille looked at her, and snickered.]
Oh, that's OK, too, but - Garrin wants me to be your friend, anyway, so I thought I'd try, at least.
[Gwendolen blinked at that, and turned around.]
...You're not really all that much like Michelle, now that I think about it, I think...
- Oh, really?
[Camille snickered again.]
...You know, about that tranformation spell - the first time I really realized that I liked Garrin specially was when almost everybody ran away from me when I was sort of ugly, but he - didn't.
So you know, it's sort of your doing that I'm as good friends with him as I am, I suppose...
....Oh, really.
[Gwendolen sighed, and plopped down on her room's bed.]
- You're still really annoying, do you know that?
[Camille plopped herself down on the other bed.]
The feeling is mutual, alas. But we'll have to put up with each other for about 2 years at least, anyway, right? And probably longer then that, too, but...
[And Gwendolen sighed, nodded, and turned her head away.]
[Things weren't going as planned - But then, when did they ever do go as planned, anyway?]
[And then, Gwendolen stopped, and stared. Wait, what had Camille said about...]
...Wait. You're engaged, already?
[And Camille smiled at her, snickering again.]
- Well, we're not officially engaged yet, to be sure - But I am going to marry Garrin, yes.
...Eventually.
[Gwendolen stared at her.]
...You must be joking.
- Oh, not at all!
[Camille said, snickering even more.]
- So we're going to be - Sisters in law, eventually!
[Gwendolen's mouth dropped open, as Camille looked at her, and winked.]
[Gwendolen just stands there stunned for a while. her face shifts color and she starts to shake. She can not believe this! The girl with the red curly pigtails pokes her head in with a silly grin] "Immeninent rage explosion in 3, 2 1..." [And gwendolen lets out a scream] "no!! it is NOT grand!! The thought of it is despicable!!" [Gwendolen's mother comes in, wearing a frown] "Gwendolen, what is the matter this time!" [she notices Camille and seems a bit surprised.] "Ah, camille Haddison? It has been a while." "It has, Mrs Chant." [camille curtsied] "How have you been?" "Fine, I suppose, much has been happening lately. And yourself? My, you are becoming such a lovely young woman." [she glanced between her and her daughter warily. So she was her room mate? This could be promising trouble. Then again, it could be a good challenge and oppuurtunity.] "I see that you have met up again with Gwendolen." "Unfortunately, we have!" [Gwendolen has calmed down her tantrum a bit, but was still fuming] "Mother! I demand to be reassigned a room! I shall not be sharing a dormitory with her!!"
Oh, Gwendolen - Please stop that. This is a finishing school - You're all supposed to be learning how to be proper young ladies, here!
And Miss Haddison seems to be a perfectly nice young lady, anyway.
[And that was when there was a large crash outside the room.]
...Luna, shuush, shuush! Just get back in there, OK?
[There appears to be a girl with a rather odd hairstyle outside in the corridors - It looks like her hair is in two balls on top of her head, and then going down in pigtails.]
[She is also trying to push a cute black cat back into a bag she is carrying. The cat does not seem to approve of this plan, alas.]
"I am a proper young lady! And she is too nice, but I despise her! I can not stand her!" [gwendolen stamps her foot] "Well that is not the beahavior of a young lady, that is the behavior of a young child! You are to stop that!" [her mother scolds]"It is time that you stop that Gwendolen. You know that you can not always have things go your way. Another thing a proper young lady must learn is how to put up patiently with those you do not agree with. Some people I understand well wnough. But really, what has Camille ever done to you! You put that curse on her the day you first met!"
[Camille was distracted by the commotion and goes outside to check.] "Oh hello there! Is that a cat in your bag?"
"It is nice to meet you, Camille!" "It is nice to meet you too! So, I assume you are a student here as well?" "Yes, this shall be my first year. I am pretty excited about this! I was on my way to my room. I think it is right here actually?" "Oh?" [Camille blinks] "How nice! I stay here as well! Come on in! Oh, but be careful, my room mate is a bit of a bad mood..."
[Meanwhile Gwnedolen sits on her bed, shaking a bit] "Because I hate her!" "And why do you hate her?" "Because she is so sweet and perfect and goody! everyone likesher so much! She is even taking Garrin form me! And the other her over in my kingdom was even worse, she ruined everything!!" [Gwneodlen started crying] "She is like my bane!"
[Gwendolen did feel calmed by her mother's words, but she nodded dourly] "When I was queen in the other world. There was another version of her but with green hair. she turned to be some fairy princess. At first she just as sweet and goody goody and iritating, but then she turned out to be quite nasty! She stole my prince, stole my followers, and she completely humiliated me! She ruined everything! In fact, she was the one who transformed me into an animal!" "And you have done nothing to antagonize her?" "No. I put up with her at first..."
"Yes, your cat. Have you filed it under your forms?" "Er, uhm..." Serena blushed "So, may I have permission for Luna then? I take very good care of her! She's spciel to me!"
[Gwendolen sulked" "Tell you about what, exactly?" "About everything that happened then." She took gwnedolen's hands "Please." "I do not want to want to..." "Gwendolen..." She sighed] "fine..." [So she told her mother about her experience in her kingdom. her ruling style, her tutoring, her crush on Prince Kyle, messing with fairies, her rivalry with Michelle. the problems with Allen, before finally inding Garrin.]
"Oh, thank you! So great!" Camille chuckled "I can't do all of it for you, of course. I'm just helping a bit, but these are your papers." [She finally nodded and togetehr they fileld out the forms] "done!"
[Gwendolen's mother listened to what Gwendolen had to say, nodding.]
- Oh, well - You really were much too obvious about some things, I'd say, but on the other hand, you're still young...
[Gwendolen sighed, and nodded, wiping her eyes. Oh, great, she'd actually started to cry a bit while she talked...]
...So, um, Mother...You're not angry with me? [She whispered.]
[Mrs Chant sighed at that.]
- Number One - I'm much too relieved that you're home in one piece now to be angry with you for very long, my dear!
[And then she gave her another hug.]
And anyway, I think you got at least part of your - drive, or fire, or whatever you want to call it from me, anyway. You really have to learn how to temper your fire, though, Gwennie - You remember that saying about fire? They say it's a good servant but a very bad master- and in this case, they're mostly right, I'm afraid.
...Yes, yes, it's easier said then done, but...
[Caroline Chant sighed, then, and then looked at her daughter in the eye.]
- But Gwendolen? Don't mess around with Cat - Eric - Anymore. No matter what.
...He's my son, and your brother, and neither me or your father or - or that damn Chestromanci for that matter - is going to put up with that kind of thing anymore.
You don't mess with family, Gwendolen. All right?
[And in the meanwhile, in the other room...]
[Luna the cat bleeked happily, and nudged Serena's cheek. She was getting to stay here!]
[Serena grinned, and held her out to Camille.]
Hey, hey, Luna - You should say thank you to Camille, too!
[Gwendolen was actually drawn back and intimidated by her mother's look. She looked away and shook her head] "No, I am done with him. I will leave him alone now... besides, he hates me now..." [she tried to quell the pang in her heart] "And it is not surprising, after what you have done to him..." [her mother shook her head ] "honestly, sometimes I wonder how life would be if you had never tried to steal his power, or if I managed to stop you in time... all this trouble would have never happened..." [Gwendolen drew back again, tears remerging] "then my fears would have happened! I would have been held back, forgotten, under his shadow!!"
[Camille giggled and petted Luna] "youre very welcome, Luna! It shall be fun! say serena, why don't we go explore the school now?"
[Gwendolen nodded, a bit bitterly.] "3 when I first starting taking his magic, and then 5 when I took possesion of his lives. From those books of darker magic you told me not to read, that I have received from Miss Lucia." "I knew it. Its partially because of her you ended up this way, if she was the one who influenced you. I should have realized it sooner... no, I have, but you did not listen to my warning, that last argument we had..." "I don't want to hear it..." "Well, you have to, Gwendolen!"
[Camille blinked and looked over, munching on her cookie] "Oh? You know that handsome gentleman?" [Serena pouted] "Sort of. We keep seeming to cross paths. " Camille giggled "sounds like fate!" "Unlucky fate! " "Are you sure?"
Well, you wanted me to leave Cat alone, as I recall - And now, I have no choice but to leave him alone, as he wouldn't even talk to me!
- So what is there to talk about, anymore, anyway?
[Her mother sighed at that.]
...Well, the thing is - I think you've gotten much too dependent on the Dark side of the magic arts, Gwendolen...
[Gwendolen made even more of a face at that, and turned away, scowling. The dark arts had served her well up to this point, she thought - And she really was pretty good at them, too, if she said so herself!]
[So why did so many people seem to think she had to go and learn all those mushy sentimental healing spells and stuff like that, anyway? She couldn't for the life of her see how learning how to help other people at the expense of her own magical energies could help improve her life in any way whatsoever...]
[And in the gardens...]
[Serena grimanced.]
Oh, yes - I actually wondered if I was cursed in some ways or something, a couple of times, though Luna didn't seem to think so.
- He keeps seeing me in the most embarrasing situations possible!
[Like when she was late and running off to Mrs Springname's School For Girls, or when she got and especially bad test and was trying to get rid of it by rolling it up and throwing it away, or...]
[Grrr.]
[And then she blinked, as another person came into view.]
...Oh, my! If it isn't young Lord Shields...
[A tall, statuesque woman who looked like she might be in her early to mid-30s was coming down the path, her long flamboyent red hair trailing behind her like a bright flame.]
[The young handsome man Serena had called Darien blinked, and then turned to the newcomer with a smile on his face.]
- Lady Beryl!
[And then he leaned down, and mimed giving her a kiss on her hand while she laughed, delightedly.]
...You look wonderful as always, Lady...So what brings you here?

[The shadow images made a face at Gwendolen inside her mind.]
(Oh, boo! After all we did for you, too.)
[And then, one of them took control of Gwendolen for a moment, and glared at her mother.]
- People have no sense of gratitude or anything else, nowadays - Your precious daughter would have died about 30 times without us, didn't you know?
[Of course, she probably wouldn't have gotten in that much trouble without their influence, either, but.]
...We'll be going then, Mrs Chant, Gwennie -
[Not that they were planning to stay away at all, but the shadow didn't see any reason to tell her that.]
- Hastalavista!
[And then, they were gone.]
[- For now.]
[Gwen grimanced - She had a feeling they'd be back, and just when it happened to be most inconvienient, too.]
[...But for now, they really seemed to be gone, and that was such a relief.]
...Stop calling me Gwennie, you idiots.
[She whispered, and turned back to her mother, looking very relieved.]
...Mother? ...I...I think they might be really gone, this time...
[And in the meanwhile...]
[Neffy took a deep breath.]
[One..Two..Three...]
[Gatespell activate!]
[Cat looked at her blearily as Nehelenia came clamboring through the mirror.]
...That's pretty neat. Does it work with anything with a reflecting surface?
[Neffy looked at him, thinking.]
That depends, but...Do you want me to teach you it? It's not so difficult, if you know how...
[Cat sighed, and got up from his bed.]
...Sure, sure. Just...Let me take a bath or something first, all right?

[Camille looked at her, blinking.]
...What? Who looks like me?
[And then she smiled.]
Hey, wait - So you mean you really know some other world's version of me?
- Do tell!
[Gwen sniffed at her, and turned away.]
You're possibly even more annoying then stupid Michelle was. Oh, and I bet you'd just fall head over heels of you ever met...
[And then Gwendolen's eyes widened.]
[ - No, wait - Camile existed here in this world, and so did Gwen and Garrin.]
[So...What about Prince Kyle? Could one of his analogues possibly exist here, too?]

[Gwendolen's mother comes in, wearing a frown] "Gwendolen, what is the matter this time!" [she notices Camille and seems a bit surprised.] "Ah, camille Haddison? It has been a while."
"It has, Mrs Chant." [camille curtsied] "How have you been?"
"Fine, I suppose, much has been happening lately. And yourself? My, you are becoming such a lovely young woman." [she glanced between her and her daughter warily. So she was her room mate? This could be promising trouble. Then again, it could be a good challenge and oppuurtunity.] "I see that you have met up again with Gwendolen."
"Unfortunately, we have!" [Gwendolen has calmed down her tantrum a bit, but was still fuming] "Mother! I demand to be reassigned a room! I shall not be sharing a dormitory with her!!"
no subject
[Mrs Chant sighed, then.]
The cat does not seem to approve of this plan, alas.]
...Miiirooow!
no subject
"Well that is not the beahavior of a young lady, that is the behavior of a young child!
[Camille was distracted by the commotion and goes outside to check.]
"Oh hello there! Is that a cat in your bag?"
no subject
[The girl looks at her, and sweatdrops.]
Ehhhh - A ha ha! ...A cat? What cat, Miss?
There's no cat here anyplace, really!
[Camille looks at her, and snickered. Oh, OK, so it was like that.]
Oh, of course not!
[She whispered, and pushed Luna's furry little head back into the bag.]
...There is no such thing as a cat in here - I must have imagined it, really!
[The girl looked at her, and nodded.]
- Thank you so much! I had no idea what to do when I realized she'd crawled into one of my bags.
[And then, she smiled at her.]
My name is Serena Moonsfield, by the way! It's good to meet you, Miss...
[Camille smiled back at her.]
My name is Camille, Camille Haddison. It's good to meet you, Serena!
[And then, she winked at her, pushing Luna back down one last time.]
And please - Just call me Camille
no subject
"It is nice to meet you too! So, I assume you are a student here as well?"
"Yes, this shall be my first year. I am pretty excited about this! I was on my way to my room. I think it is right here actually?"
"Oh?" [Camille blinks] "How nice! I stay here as well! Come on in! Oh, but be careful, my room mate is a bit of a bad mood..."
[Meanwhile Gwnedolen sits on her bed, shaking a bit] "Because I hate her!"
"And why do you hate her?"
"Because she is so sweet and perfect and goody! everyone likesher so much! She is even taking Garrin form me! And the other her over in my kingdom was even worse, she ruined everything!!" [Gwneodlen started crying] "She is like my bane!"
no subject
...Sweet and perfect and goody?
[Mrs Chant said, quizzically.]
I'd agree that she was sweet, but she doesn't seem perfect to me at all, my dear!
[And then she leaned down and gave her daughter a hug.]
...Now, Gwendolen Chant - You are more important to me then the most sweetest goody-goody perfect girl in the whole entire world, all right?
- So buck up!
[She then leaned back a little, and took a good look at her daughter.]
...But what's this about an other her and a kingdom?
[And in the meanwhile...]
[Serena and Camille were both sweatdropping. A female teacher was heading their way, glasses glinting.]
...Why, hello, Miss Haddison! And Miss Moonsfield, too!
[She then stopped, and took a good look at the bag Serena was holding.]
[And it was that very moment that Luna poked her nose out of the bag again, cat-smiling.]
...Mioooww!
[The teacher sighed, and carefully pushed Luna back into the bag. She then turned toward Serena, looking mock stern.]
...Miss Moonfield! You're not allowed to keep familiars here without getting permission first - It's clearly written in the school rules!
[Serena stared at her, her mouth dropping open.]
...Fami...liar??
no subject
"And you have done nothing to antagonize her?"
"No. I put up with her at first..."
"Yes, your cat. Have you filed it under your forms?"
"Er, uhm..." Serena blushed "So, may I have permission for Luna then? I take very good care of her! She's spciel to me!"
no subject
[Mrs Chant looked at Gwendolen, sighing.]
...Are you sure you didn't to anything to make her angry at you, my dear?
[And then she gave her another hug.]
Look, you're my daughter, and I love you, all right? No matter what you did or didn't do.
So just tell me all about it, OK?
[The teacher looked at her, and then took out a whole pack of forms out of seemingly nowhere.]
Well, alright, Ms Moonfield - Just this once, we will make some special allowances.
[And then she grinned.]
Just as long as you fill all of those papers out, that is!
[Serena groaned as she saw all the paperwork she would have to do.]
...Oh, nooo...
[She then looked at Camille, imploringly.]
[Camille looked at her, and patted her encouragingly on her back.]
Don't worry, Serena - Writing papers is one of the things I'm actually pretty good at. We'll be all finished with that before you know it, I'm sure!
[And in the meanwhile, Luna the cat was looking at all of them and yawning again. Humans and those paper things, honestly...]
no subject
"About everything that happened then." She took gwnedolen's hands "Please."
"I do not want to want to..."
"Gwendolen..."
She sighed] "fine..." [So she told her mother about her experience in her kingdom. her ruling style, her tutoring, her crush on Prince Kyle, messing with fairies, her rivalry with Michelle. the problems with Allen, before finally inding Garrin.]
"Oh, thank you! So great!"
Camille chuckled "I can't do all of it for you, of course. I'm just helping a bit, but these are your papers."
[She finally nodded and togetehr they fileld out the forms] "done!"
no subject
Hey, hey, Luna - You should say thank you to Camille, too!
no subject
"And it is not surprising, after what you have done to him..." [her mother shook her head ] "honestly, sometimes I wonder how life would be if you had never tried to steal his power, or if I managed to stop you in time... all this trouble would have never happened..."
[Gwendolen drew back again, tears remerging] "then my fears would have happened! I would have been held back, forgotten, under his shadow!!"
[Camille giggled and petted Luna] "youre very welcome, Luna! It shall be fun! say serena, why don't we go explore the school now?"
no subject
Oh, Gwendolen, Gwendolen - I'm pretty sure there would have been ways to make yourself stand out, without stealing your own brother's magic wholesale!
[She then looked at her daughter, and smiled.]
...Though it was pretty impressive that you even managed to do it at all, I thought, to be honest.
- How old were you, anyway, when you did it? Five?
[And outside the rooms - Serena, Camille and Luna the cat had made it out of the buildings, and were now walking through the gardens.]
...It's soo nice here!
[Serena said, offering Camille some of the cookies she'd brought with her from home. Munch munch!]
[- And then, she nearly choked on her cookies as she caught sight of somebody she'd never thought she'd meet here.]
...Oh, no - Can it really be him?
[She muttered in dismay, motioning Camille to hide behind some bushes with her.]
- What in the world is Lord Darien of all people doing here, anyway!
...Sheesh...
no subject
"I knew it. Its partially because of her you ended up this way, if she was the one who influenced you. I should have realized it sooner... no, I have, but you did not listen to my warning, that last argument we had..."
"I don't want to hear it..."
"Well, you have to, Gwendolen!"
[Camille blinked and looked over, munching on her cookie] "Oh? You know that handsome gentleman?"
[Serena pouted] "Sort of. We keep seeming to cross paths. "
Camille giggled "sounds like fate!"
"Unlucky fate! "
"Are you sure?"
no subject
[Gwendolen scowled at her mother, then.]
