[Hotaru looked at Gwendolen go by, and tilted her head. The girl still seemed oddly familiar...]

[And that was when a nearby pair of witches bowed to Gwendolen, snickering behind their fans.]

- Lady Gwendolen! Congradulations - It's a great honor to be chosen to be the Princess of the Witching Hour, as you well know...

[Hotaru paused at that. Gwendolen? Where'd she heard that name, anyway?]

[And then, she hit her hand with her fist in the tradition "I get it!" gesture.]

...Oh, right, Chibi-Usa-chan had a friend called Gwendolen! She kept being conned and kidnapped by all kinds of nasty people and beings who kept trying to drain her energies, Chibi-Usa-chan said...

[Some of the other witches glared at her, then, and waved their hands about.]

- Shuuuush! Shuuush! She'll hear you, you damn idiot!

[One of them whispered...]

"who cares if she hears us?" another witch said rolling her eyes
"Then she will start whining again, and you know how irritating it is!" her friend reprimanded
"Oh. right, geez, she is such a pain! What makes her think she's so special.."

[Hotaru made a face at the two other witches - Bullies really were everywhere, weren't they? - but then, she turned back toward Gwendolen, who actually seemed to be coming their way. Oh, good - Maybe she could figure out what the heck was going on, now.]

[So Hotaru waited until the blonde girl had come close enough, and then used some of her magic make it more difficult for evesdroppers to overhear what they were saying.]

...Say, Lady Gwendolen - Do you by any chance know a girl called Chibi-Usa-chan? She had bright pink hair, and often wears her hair two dumplings and pigtails, so she looks a bit like a very cute rabbit...

[There. If the magic had worked, Gwendolen should be able to hear what Hotaru was saying pretty clearly, but nobody else should be able to.]

[Hotaru paused a bit at that. Strange, she could have sworn that the blonde girl had twitched a bit at Chibi-Usa-chan's name, but...]

[And didn't "Gwendolen" mean "fair browed" or something like that? She snickered slightly - Didn't the girl know that her own name meant "pretty eyebrows"? And that was why making fun of other people's names was often a bad idea, ha ha ha - ]

- Oh, I'm sorry, then.

[And then, she picked up her skirt, and gave Gwendolen a small curtsy.]

...My name is Tomoe Hotaru, and it's good to meet you, your highness!

"Hm, yes." Gwen nodded at her, eyeing her curiously.
Should she know this girl? Hm, probably though though something about her did stick out "So.where are you form?

I'm originally from one of the Earths's Tokyo, but I've been living in City ***** in Infinity for a while, your highness.

[Hotaru said with a smile - And that was when Gwendolen's Phone began to beep!]

[If Gwendolen looks at her Phone, she would see Yuuko's icon blinking on it...]

[hm., the lady n the icon did seem familiar. she tried answering it]

[Some text appeared beneath the black haired woman's icon, then.]

Welcome back, Gwendolen-chan! Did you know there is somebody here who wants to meet you a lot?

[Hotaru nodded to herself, thinking - The blond girl already knew how to use her Phone quite well, apparently...]

[So how long had she been here? And even more important, how long did she think she'd been here?]

[Gwen blinked. then sniffed haughtily] "But of course somebody wants to meet me! I am very important, after all!"

[More text came flowing in, and then the icon blinked, and a small photo of a young man who looked a lot like Gwendolen herself appeared on the screen.]

And no, he isn't the person you used to call "Cat", I don't think...

[Hotaru, in the meanwhile, was still looking on with a polite smile on her face, wondering what was going on.]

It's been a while, Marisa-san! How are your parents doing?

[Yuuko said with a laugh, and then gestured with her arms, showing off her kimono and very much not cat girl self.]

...And I seem to have avoided being turned into a Catgirl today, ho ho ho...

[And then, she turned toward the other Witches,and gave them a small bow. The blonde girl - Hmm, she made dolls? And she'd stopped being human on her own volation, pretty recently, probably. Hmm, very interesting - This Yuuko herself hadn't had much choice in the stopping being "just a mortal" business, though it wasn't like she'd ever actually wanted to die or anything like that.]

[The purple haired girl, on the other hand, apparently had been born a "witch", and had never been a human being in the first place. She tended to be sickly, too, it seemed - Poor girl. And she used elemental magic? Huh.]

- I'm called Ichihara Yuuko, and I run a Wish Shop! Good to see you, everybody!

[Ichihara Yuuko is not her True Name or her birth name, but she'd used it long enough for it to accumilate some power on it's own right, she thinks.]

[Yuuko grinned at Marisa, her eyes twinkling, and then turned toward the two other witches with a small headtilt.]

- May I have some names which to call you too, Lady Witches?

[Yuuko has figured out the names they usually use already, but she didn't think it was polite to call people by any version of their names if they hadn't introduced themselves first. Names were important, after all.]

[Marisa waved with a grin] "these are my buddies an fellow witches, Alice Margatroid and Patchouli Knowledge"
[Alice huffed a bit at the interuption by Marisa, but oh well.

...It's the Wish-Seller. So who thought calling any version of her here was good idea, anyway?

[Yuuko smiled at the three Witches, and then turned toward the concorse, where some of the other Witches had set up all kinds of stalls.]

- Hmmm, I was wondering...Have you eaten lunch already, everybody?

Alright, what about dinner, then?

[Yuuko laughed, and pointed toward the food stalls - And that was when a young Kitsune boy looked up at Yuuko, and grinned!]

...Hi, Yuuko-san! Have you come to eat our new curry udon?

[And in the meanwhile, yet another young witch was walking toward the stalls, talking to herself under her breath.]

- So what the hell is that megalomaniac planning this time, anyway? And how does she keep finding all those high-magic brats to use as patsys?

[A young boy was passing nearby, looking thoughtful as as if he was searching for somethingg, or some one.
One might notice he looked near exactly like gwendolen., though wit a mroe sensible expression than her haughty one]

[Yuuko turned at looked at the young man, then. She'd seen this one before when she'd riffled thought Gwendolen's possibilities, though they'd never met in person, she didn't think.]
