[Hotaru paused a bit at that. Strange, she could have sworn that the blonde girl had twitched a bit at Chibi-Usa-chan's name, but...]

[And didn't "Gwendolen" mean "fair browed" or something like that? She snickered slightly - Didn't the girl know that her own name meant "pretty eyebrows"? And that was why making fun of other people's names was often a bad idea, ha ha ha - ]

- Oh, I'm sorry, then.

[And then, she picked up her skirt, and gave Gwendolen a small curtsy.]

...My name is Tomoe Hotaru, and it's good to meet you, your highness!

Should she know this girl? Hm, probably though though something about her did stick out "So.where are you form?

I'm originally from one of the Earths's Tokyo, but I've been living in City ***** in Infinity for a while, your highness.

[Hotaru said with a smile - And that was when Gwendolen's Phone began to beep!]

[If Gwendolen looks at her Phone, she would see Yuuko's icon blinking on it...]

[hm., the lady n the icon did seem familiar. she tried answering it]

Welcome back, Gwendolen-chan! Did you know there is somebody here who wants to meet you a lot?

[Hotaru nodded to herself, thinking - The blond girl already knew how to use her Phone quite well, apparently...]

[So how long had she been here? And even more important, how long did she think she'd been here?]

[Gwen blinked. then sniffed haughtily] "But of course somebody wants to meet me! I am very important, after all!"

[More text came flowing in, and then the icon blinked, and a small photo of a young man who looked a lot like Gwendolen herself appeared on the screen.]

And no, he isn't the person you used to call "Cat", I don't think...

[Hotaru, in the meanwhile, was still looking on with a polite smile on her face, wondering what was going on.]

[And gwendolen gawked at that ] "what is this...?" [Yes she recognized him, aside form him looking just like her. Yes, she saaw him in her dreams, and felt a strong connection... of course she always passed it off as just dreams, but...

[Even more text flowed through the screen - And then, a map with a small red dot popped up on it.]

You'd probably better set up a distraction if you want to talk to us without the other people following you around bothering us, though!

[And then, there was a pause.]

Do you remember that spell we once found in a book - The one which lets one exchange apparences with other people for a short time?

[Hotaru, in the meanwhile, had spotted yet another witch who had started to stalk their way. Uh, oh...]

[Gwendolen rolled her eyes and responded] "I have no need for that! I am the queen here!"

[the witch walked up] "Miss Gwendolen, Miss Lucia would like to see you. It is almost time"

[Hotaru, in the meanwhile, had looked around them, wondering what to do next. Maybe she should try to follow after the blonde girl and figure out what was happening?]

[And in the meanwhile, one of the other witches had turned around, and stared at the witch who'd spoken to Gwendolen.]

- Wait, so you know where Miss Lucia is? Where is she? My coven has been looking for her for almost 30 minutes! With all the money we paid to attend this "special event", we'd think we -

[And then, the two witches began to argue. Hotaru looked at Gwendolen, and then looked at the witches. Yep, they seemed to be fully distracted, all right...]

[And so, she went up to her, and whispered - ]

...So what's this "special event" about, anyway, Miss Gwendolen? You seem to be in the know, so...

"You came to this ball, and you did not even know what it is abaout?" [she scoffed[

[Hotaru wriggled her halloween broomstick with a laugh.]

Infinity decided to just yoink me here, actually, I'm afraid - I never got any invitation at all!

[the other witch glared at Hotaru] "Well if you were invited, then you have no business being here at all! This event is for real witches only!" she pointed her finger] "I may as well turn you into somehting here and now!

[Hotaru looked around them with a snicker, then. The other witch could try to turn her into something, if she wanted, buuut.]

...You know, Gwendolen-san? I do have the feeling that a lot of the people here haven't received any invitations at all, to be honest.

[And indeed, a lot of the people there did seem to be basically party-goers in halloween witch, mage or familiar costumes, having a good time - Though most of them did seem to have some kind of magical powers.]

[And then, she looked at the witch who'd threatened to turn her into something, and sniggered even wider, deciding to channel Chibi-Usa-chan in Brat Mode for a couple of minutes.]

- What's your defition of a real witch, anyway? Half the people here are probably more powerful then you are!

[the witch gaped and stammered, insulted, magic brimming aorund her angrily] "How dare you!! And for your information, yes we are aware of the intruder, but we are weeing them out!"

[Hotaru stared at the magic brimming around the other witch, and humphed, acting very unimpressed. She was starting to get why Chibi-Usa-chan thought acting like this was fun sometimes, she thought.]

...Hmph. You can try, I suppose, but I don't think you'll succeed - Especially since it seems that Infinity itself wants all those people here.

[And then, she turned toward Gwendolen.]

- Come, Gwendolen-san - Please do tell me what this Witch's Ball is all about!
