Incidentally, they had gottren them from the same antique store.

He smiled and put it around her neck "I felt the same about yours" She did the same , putting the necklace around his neck "Like, you were meant to have it." Indeed, this did feel nostalguc. A faint glimse of memory of this same exchange, outisde a ball room, she in an orgnate dress and tiara... She suddenly hugged him tightly
[And that was when the white something flickered through her line of vision again.]

[And then Kyubey's pick tipped ears twitched, and he turned around. Oh, what a bother...And just when something interesting seemed to have turned up, too!]
[If he hadn't gotten it wrong, and he was pretty sure he hadn't - A Witch was heading right toward the concert, with a Puella Magi in hot pursuit!]
"you didn't answer what you wanted with us." [Rin rcovered a bit and stared at the kyuuby] "you.. I know you.. we've met befor" "Indeed, we have. About 200 earth yars ago. She picked up the trial of anothr magical girl, and soon spotted hr, a girl about her age with long leaf green hair with roses and butterfly clips, and wearing a flowing cream and green dress with more flower and butterfly themes
[And in the meanwhile, the manager had been wringing his hands.]
...Oh, no! Why does Miku-chan keep doing this!?
It's not like she's just a wannabe singer anymore - She has fans coming over from all over Japan, now, and they're begining to trickle in from overseas, too!
But she just keeps disappearing at odd times, over and over, all the time...
[And he walked away from the concert, wondering if there was any way he could find Miku, and convince her to come back and sing on schedule again.]
[And that is when he caught sight of the Kagamine twins, and blinked. Hey, he knew those people - They were Miku's friends, right?]
[And that is when a brainstorm hit him.]

[He called out, and started to walk toward them.]
- You're the Kagamine Twins, right? The thing is, we're in a bit of a pickle right now, and I'll appreciate it a lot if you could help us out!

[And then, Mr Yoshimoto the manager sighed, and leaned closer to them, whispering.]
- Oh, you see, Miku-chan seems to have decided to take one of her breaks again, and I really had no idea what to do, but then, I had an idea!
[And then he smiled at them.]
...If she doesn't come back in about 10 minutes or so, we're going to have people from the audience come up too, and sing either Miku's songs covers or their own original songs, I don't care which, actually, as long as they're good singers.
[And then, he leaned closer to them, smiling.]

[Len blinked] "What do you mean?" "We want you to sing for the audience unil Miku returns. You two both are very good singers and dancers.] rin sat up , rubbing her eyes "are you sure? well yes, we'd love to!" She seems to have forgoteen about her fainting spell, and the mysterious creature. "Great! Follow this way then."
Meanwhile Miku raised her eyebrows in surprise as she finally recognized the girl from her friend Gumi's gardening club"Hanako Mitsuri? Is that you?" "Ah, you are Miku Hastune?" The girl frowned " You are a magiical girl?" "Yes, i am!" "I see... somehow that is not surprisin..." "How have you ben? Gumi-chan said that you haven't been to the gardening club lately..." "I hav been busy with issues at home, and magiclall girl duties. I don't want to talk about it..." She seemed a bit in disarray
[Rin and Len follow the maneger back to the backstage areas, and are surprised to see that he has some costumes that fit them, already.]
...Oh, Miku-chan had those made - She said she wanted to give you two a chance to get on the stage, too, if we could manage to fit it inside our schedule!
[He then blinked.]
...She did say she wanted to talk about it with the two of your personally first, though, not just spring it on you like this...
[Len nodded at that, grinning.]
- Oh, that's so much like Miku-san, she was always such a considerate person - And it's not like we'd say no, after all!
[And then he looked at his sister.]
...Right, Rin?
[Rin, in the meanwhile, has been rubbing her head again, muttering to herself.]
...You've really made a mess of things this time, haven't you, you stupid little white roll-thing...
[And outside in the gardens, Miku was tilting her head.]

[She then puts her hand inside her pocket, and takes out a Grief Seed.]

She sprinkkled some magic on them, making them more vivid "thats better,,,
No, no, no - Of course we're going to do this, I'll be damned if we just let a big chance like this drift away like that!
[And then she blinked again, a cold shudder passing through her. But she was damned either way, however things rolled right?]
[...And then, she shook her head. Damn it, this was no time be getting so spacey...]
[And so she turned toward the maneger, and grinned, giving him a cute mock salute.]
...We'll do it, Yoshimoto-san! Just leave it up to us!
[Len nodded at that, relieved, and so they both changed into their costumes, and put their stage makeup on.]

[And then she sank to the ground, Miku falling on top of her, as the dark murkiness was drawn out of her Soul Gem.]

"'Gemini' or 'Butterfly on the right shoulder' is always a classic for us" Rin commnted, looking them over " Im glad she included our songs in the list thoug. and that she was going to have us sing..." "I wonder where she is? I hope she's ok..
"Ah! There we go! Better!" Miku smiled "though it seems it was the last form that grief seed, all used up. We'll have to find Kyuubey to dispose of it before it gets contaminated. "Hatsune san, you didn't have to do that... but thank you.." feeling more refreshed She sighed and brushed a lock of leafy green hair out of her eyes. Her eyes were often hidden behind her hair before, she was timid and not very social. Her confidence has grown since acquiring her power though. "you are welcome! So, what do you say we tem up for this witch? And we can hang out and have fun afetrwards?" She held out a hand "..very well" Hanako shook it. After they took up the trail again, a pair of certain emotionaless pink eyes stared after them. Sure, this rose and butterfly magical girl was reenergized for now. but she was already reaching the emotional stress point where her soul gem would start getting darker much faster... it was only a matter of time before she would break
...So she's going to be late, yet again. I have no idea what to do with you, Miku-chan...It's not like you can get away with doing stuff like this for ever, and you should know it!
[Len looked at him, and smiled, trying to make Miku's manager feel better.]
- I'm sure she has a good reason for running off like that, Yoshimoto-san - Miku-chan isn't the sort to just run off and - and go play video games or something, right?
[The manager sighed, rubbing his head.]
...Well, I didn't think she was, but - With the way she keeps disappearing these days...

- Oh, darn - I'm going to be late again, aren't I? It's already almost 15 minutes, and we haven't even started the battle proper, yet...

[The Kyubey had turned away from the Puella Magi, and had started to head for the stage.]

[And then, he got on a water fountain, and watched the Twins come up on the stage.]
- But now, it has been granted, correct? Your brother has been reborn, and so have you, and now both of you are together again...
[And then his mouth twitched, and then settled into a smile.]
...What an interesting experiment this is - I haven't had so much fun in centuries!
"Im sure she has a perfectly ood reason!" "She could at least tell me the reasons. I love that girl, but the industry is a well structured place, and if she keeps skimping out without notice, well, she will be on thin ice... She will need to think of her priorities,,," Anyway kids, you're on!" [the twins went on stage and performed, the crowed cheering]
[And in the meanwhile, the two magical gorls have found and defeated the witch, which was fortunately not a very powerful one. " "Phew! We did it! " they went over to the grief seed

[One of the fans muttered, while the other ones glared at him.]

[And Rin blinked, slowly, as another wave of dizziness hit her.]
[...Something was coming - And it was heading straight at all the people at the concert, cheering for her and Len, just like they actually were real singers, not just some people the maneger had called in because their was a gap in the show that had to be filled...]
"Well let's go! we have got to find it!" As she got up, she noticed the frustrated Hanako. Her soul gem was already a bit darker. Odd, wasn't it just cleaned? Even if the grief seed from a familiar provided less energy form a full witch one. Maybe she should receive the grief seed reward... They headed off, picking up the trail again]
[And so Miku looked at Hanako, and shook her head.]

[Hmmm. Miku looked at her own Soul Gem, then, and sweatdropped a little. Darn - It had been as clean as a whistle, just this morning, too!]

[th twins start to notice something is wrong now, with the crowd. The crowd seem to be getting angrier. Fights are even breaking out amongst eachother, and soon it becomes a full riot. One could almost feel negative sentiment rising ematnating from it.] "Whats going on? What s the ruckus for?" Rin asked in confusion. Len grabbed his sister protectively "come on Rin, we have to get out of here, before we get hurt in the crossfire!" "Right!" They scuttled off stage "Maybe we should head home, and call miku... hope she's ok... "Just what started this anyway_" Len was interupted by the manager suddenly tackling him, his eyes clouded as if in a trance,, but with fury. There was an odd mark upon his neck "LEN!!!" rin tried to pull him off
[Rin charged over and tackled i nto the fan, yelling, and knocked the bottle out of her hand, and punched her] "DONT YOU DARE KTRY TO KILL MY BROTHER YOU PSYCHO!!" She noticed the same marking on her neck as their managers. Like a spiral swirl pattern. "What is this? Some freaky brainwashhign experiment?!" [The scenery around her changed and shimmered into what looked like some sort of twisted chemist lab, with runes floating about. High little warbling noises were heard as colorful bubble blobs bounced towards them]
[Rin quickly stood up, holding out her ribbon baton in front of her.]
...Get behind me, Len!
[Len, on the other hand, was more worried about the fan who had just tried to kill him. The girl was now crumpled on the floor, though she did seem to be still breathing when he crawled over to her to check.]
- Oh, good, she's not dead...
[He said, and then looked around them...]
[...And at Rin.]
[Len shook his head, wondering if he was the one who had been knocked unconsious, not the poor deluded fangirl.]
...Rin?
[He said gently, and tried to get up, wobbling.]
...Where are we?
[And then he took a deep breath.]
- And when did you have time to change clothes?
[He put a hand to his forehead, feeling something hot dripping down. He was bleeding, yes - This wasn't good, he thought, somehow.]
...You look like...You look like you're wearing a grown up version of one of those Magical Girl costume we used to play games in, or something...
"Eh?" she looked down and saw that a shiny yellow frilly dress had indeed appeared on her "How did this happen? I don't remember putting it on1 It's still very nice anyway!" She noticed his injury "Oh no! Len, you're hurt!" She took a ribbon off of her dress and wrapped in around his head, bandaging it "Thanks Rin, but I'll be fine.... but, I think those blobs are coming near us. And I dont think theyr'e friendly..." [They notced the fluffy white creature in the corner]

[The manager sighed, rubbing his head.]
...Well, I didn't think she was, but - With the way she keeps disappearing these days...
[And outside in the gardens...]
[Miku looked at her watch, and groaned.]
- Oh, darn - I'm going to be late again, aren't I? It's already almost 15 minutes, and we haven't even started the battle proper, yet...
[She did hope that her manager could do something to fill the gaps in, but it wasn't like she could go running back now, she was pretty sure. It wouldn't do if some Witch went and started to nibble at her fans, after all!]

[The Kyubey had turned away from the Puella Magi, and had started to head for the stage.]

[And Rin blinked, slowly, as another wave of dizziness hit her.]
[...Something was coming - And it was heading straight at all the people at the concert, cheering for her and Len, just like they actually were real singers, not just some people the maneger had called in because their was a gap in the show that had to be filled...]

[And Hanako nodded at that, with a big relieved smile.]

[Rin was biting her lip as they rested between songs.]

[Len, on the other hand, was staring at his sister.]
[...Wait a moment, wait a moment...Where had that baton thing with the ribbons just appeared from, anyway? He would have noticed if something like that had been in the changing room already, right? ]

"Right!" They scuttled off stage "Maybe we should head home, and call miku... hope she's ok...
"Just what started this anyway_" Len was interupted by the manager suddenly tackling him, his eyes clouded as if in a trance,, but with fury. There was an odd mark upon his neck

[Rin huffed, but then breathed a sigh of relief when she went to see the manager, and found out he was still breathing normally.]

[A fan said, smashing another fan's face with his baton.]
- Oh, shut up, she's old news now - Rin-chan and Len-kun all the way!
[Another fan countered, smashing back with his bag full of fan merchentise.]

[And that was when Rin's eyes narrowed.]
[A fan was heading right for them, her eyes a bright scarlet - And she was armed with a broken bottle, aimed right for Len's throat!]
...I will get rid of this blight for you, our drearest Miku-san...
[She whispers, holding the jagged edges of the bottle up - And charges!]
[And that was when Rin's eyes glowed a bright gold.]
...Oh no you don't!
[And the magical energy starts to glow around her, twirling like a wave...]

[The scenery around her changed and shimmered into what looked like some sort of twisted chemist lab, with runes floating about. High little warbling noises were heard as colorful bubble blobs bounced towards them]

[Len, on the other hand, was more worried about the fan who had just tried to kill him. The girl was now crumpled on the floor, though she did seem to be still breathing when he crawled over to her to check.]
- Oh, good, she's not dead...

[Len shook his head, wondering if he was the one who had been knocked unconsious, not the poor deluded fangirl.]

[He said gently, and tried to get up, wobbling.]

[He put a hand to his forehead, feeling something hot dripping down. He was bleeding, yes - This wasn't good, he thought, somehow.]
